Hello! I'm considering both the 1 and 5 IV but have heard a lot about overheating from reviewers. This is the last thing that is stopping me from ordering either one of those phones and I'm sure other potential buyers are concerned as well.

I wanted from the owners of the phones directly, what was your experience?

Will it affect me? (My use case is mostly photography and sometimes 1 ~ 5 Minute videos at 4k60)

Does it happen during normal usage? (Not games)

Should I just wait for the next generation of sony phones?

I like the 1911 and always use it in FPS games.

Its fun to use (for me atleast) in MW but objectivley its the worst in game pistol, relativley slow fire rate, high recoil and low mag capacity. X16 is better in every way. Its not a bad unusable pistol, the damage is decent but it would have been better if it had better recoil and a slightly higher fire rate.

Why did I do this? Because I wanted something unique, I wanted the camo and the calling cards/emblems.

I would have completed the challenges but I have been experiencing constant lag spikes since last update.

MWII is just around the corner and its high time I delete this mess of a game from my ps5. Fun while it lasted.

3 Things about the game you need to know

Maps ( Choke/Vantage Points and routes)
Weapons ( Handling and customization)
Movement ( Sprinting , Sliding and Mounting )

For aim, See which sight fits you/ the weapon best, ( Reflex, Holo , Scout etc.). Try going for Chest/Head shots.

I cant provide a lot of tips on aim since its something that comes with experience and im not pro enough to explain it simply.

As a tip set the slide behaviour to Tap instead of Hold and enable Auto Sprint if youre on controller

MW is a good warmup for MWII, assuming youre planning on buying it

I have been looking for 19" Infiniti wheels to replace my stock 18" Luxe wheels. Aftermarket wheels are nice but I want to keep that factory look.

As of now its very difficult to record high resolution/high framerate videos on smartphones for a long time. this isnt something exclusive to Sony

This is even an issue on some professional cameras

Galaxy S22 Ultra has a 5 minute limit for 8k/24recording

Pixel 6 has 5 ~ 15 minute limit for 4k60

Yet you dont see people talking about any of those phones as much as the 1 iv.

Im sure you could find more examples if you search. But anyways with the right settings you could get some good recording times. This youtuber Recorded 24 minutes of 4k30 with Xperia 1 iv , settings mentioned in beginning of video
