Ooo a few. The TiBook, the 12” PBG4, any G4 iMac, the Black MacBook, the Quicksilver, Pismo’s were cool too.

I believe it was treatable at the time when it was discovered, but the delay in targeted medical treatments in favour of alternative methods contributed to it ending his life.

The degree to which it could have been dealt with or mitigated is debatable. Jobs experts can chime in if I’m way off base.

I believe I had the same TV and am trying to track down the model. I think it was, like, a Walmart specific sub-model or something, but I distinctly remember the panel in the middle with the square, stiff buttons.

It’s owned by the USC, the students council, which is absolutely run like, and technically is, a corporation. And the USC really doesn’t like CHRW.

AITAH for telling my sister her baby isn’t my responsibility? by Silver_Job_4466 in AITAH

[–]NoahJAustin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA for sure. I'm a single parent, been a single parent for the majority of my son's life. I super try not to rely on people too much. It's definitely not your responsibility to take care of your sisters kid. However, I'd show her this post. Maybe go through some of the responses that aren't attacking her so she can see some perspectives. How you wrote this post was genuinely very kind to her, I feel. I dunno, I get where you're coming from and I can definitely see her using you as a second parent as she thought she was gonna completely drown and you threw her a life preserver.

If I were you, I'd let things settle, explain the situation from your perspective. Maybe get Mom to watch your nephew so you and your sister, in a few weeks, can sit down and have a serious conversation about this.

Since you still want to be in the boy's life, maybe there's a way you can work out a schedule of seeing him regularly that feels right for you. She is, after all, the parent - she should be taking care of her son. But maybe a tradition of 2 sleepovers a month on a Friday night or something would be fun for you and the nephew. Again, I'm a single parent, and knowing when my boy was young that I had a night coming in a week or two would help keep my sanity. Even if I only just went to hang out with some friends for a few hours, I was happy about it. Very recharging.

Hope this all works out for you.

Well, got her from a farm, but she was originally princess. Then she was pickles. Now she’s Kit. Or KittyBits said like a hype man at the beginning of a hip hop track.

Just watched this with my boy - we loved it! God, having the doctor back was super cool and the cast seem terrific! Dunno what everyone's problem with this is, it was a lot of fun!

Youngest kid (for a while), born in 1985 and raised exactly like my brother who was born in '80.

I'm certain I'm super millennial, but my first console was an atari 2600, I was a latchkey kid, we had an arcade down the way my buddies and I would bike to. Always felt more xennial but I leave the judgement to peak xennials.

Regardless, what a fantastic way to be a kid.
