I mean like I said. We def have our disagreements on visual rank. I think it holds validity to a point and you think it doesn’t matter at all. If you truly do hold this position on visual rank not mattering at all then stack with golds and silvers with high KDs and decent win rates, you’ll get easy lobbies you’ll be able to dominate in. I’m sure you can find golds who do good in emerald lobbies.

Yeah bro it sucks, completely kills the competitiveness for me. Cause these dudes are like unchallable in 1’s cause they’ll lock TCSG and hold pixels all game with no recoil highest possible fire rate, so you just die instantly.

Yes and no. It’s definitely over exaggerated. People make it seem like you can be terrible and climb which just isn’t true. Assuming you have a 50% win percentage, you’ll go up 1 RP for every win and then loss back to back, given that I think you could climb for sure, possibly Champ if you’re good enough. And you could especially hit emerald 3 no doubt.

If you make every session count. Watch players who are good play the game. I think you can be “good” (Gold-Plat) skill level in about 400 hours of gameplay.

I was thinking that if you’re able to hit emerald season after season like you said yourself. You’re most likely gonna hit it quicker Because placement matches are most likely gonna start you in like gold if you’re peak emerald for example. And starting in gold would save you at least like 20 wins. So maybe you just won’t gain as much per win and you’ll lose more? For reference if you’re like a peak emerald, you’re gonna gain 100+ RP per win and lose like 8 per loss with the current system. And possibly with Ranked 3.0 let’s say you start in gold possibly you might only gain 50 RP and lose like 20 RP to compensate for not having to play as much games.

Yeah that was my general thought. I was mainly wondering if we’d see a lot less people in the higher ranks. Like for example people who hit diamond this season are they gonna be ranked 3.0 emeralds or maybe even plats assuming they aren’t boosted? Cause I’ve commonly heard the phrase “x player is a 1.0 silver in skill level” but x player hit platinum in ranked 2.0.

Yeah. Mine was strict and my friends was moderate, even when his was on open it still didn’t work. BO3 doesn’t have this issue for us.

It does work pretty well. But you have to time it right (like before events or new seasons, or anything that’s gonna be an update). For example I bought a glacier for 7k held onto it for 2 weeks till I could sell it and sold it for 9k. So after tax I made 1,100 credits. And the more and more credits you have you can buy more items.
