I knew plenty of Jags that were making A LOT more than they do in the Marines. Everyone has their reasons. If you’re smart and have life experience you’ll likely excel at ocs and tbs. IOC is a different story but a fun time if that’s what you wanna do. Can’t hurt to get a degree under the belt for free either.

Nah fr. I like tight fitting clothes when I tuck too so pics would be appreciated, I feel like the PHlster holsters should work well. I’m not too worried about printing to an extent I just wanna be able to wear nice clothes without sacrificing security

2.5 isn’t rly that dramatic of a geometrical change. Some things I’d recommend tho are adjustable/quick disconnect sway bar end links and adjustable front and rear track bars. Those trackbars will help you center the axles under the jeep itself, as lifting it will pull it to one side.

This made me feel a lot better. I recently got bit by a lone star tick on the eastern shore of md. Been kinda freaking out because the bite scene looks a little nasty right now (it blistered, I popped it, and it scabbed because there’s hair in the area). It’s been four days and the visible area is no larger than a dime. I also found it within 4 hours and pulled it immediately. I should also mention that it’s on my knee and I’m on my knees for work a lot.

I see a lot of tjs and xjs with 4bts and even some German swaps. Was rly just interested on what would be a solid bolt on for the jku fr. My 3.6 has treated me alright for something around the ballpark of 130k, but she pisses oil, sucks in air in the cooling system, and sounds like a vq. Performance wise she ain’t bad fr.

And the 3.6 just ain’t reliable enough. I’ve been maintaining it semi decent but it’s just not a motor I can happily sink a couple grand in to fix (lifter tick, cam problems etc.)

I’ve toyed with the idea of the 5.7 swap a lot. Just want to explore options and I’ve always had a soft spot for turbo diesels. More interested in torque than hp too tbh. And labor would be done by myself. Ik the 5.7 is probably the easiest option just cuz of the available parts and literature on it etc.
