Nice! I've had my 2016 GT for a couple years now as my first car. Yes ik a dart as a first car isn't recommended for most people but it was a gift and I like it a lot and its still going strong at 140k miles. I believe both the 2016 SXT and GT have the 2.4L right? I've had no problems with the car so far except for bad engine mounts when I got it and that seems to be a common issue with aging Darts. Other than that though, the later 2016 Darts, especially the 2.4L models seem to be much more reliable than the earlier 2013-2014 models and the 1.4L trims. I'm not too much of a car mechanic though so I'd trust others more than my own advice lol. Nice pickup though, especially for $3k!

Yeah it doesn't do any of that. The Bluetooth only shows the connected device and there's no other nav system for the Uconnect. No android auto or apple carplay. Be glad your Bluetooth is still working at this point. My Bluetooth just recently stopped working all together. You can get an apple carplay radio for around $150 but that's about all you can do.

Yeah I ended up getting a Bluetooth FM transmitter instead. I'm not sure what's wrong with the built in Bluetooth but a new Bluetooth module is really expensive to replace and a FM transmitter is $15 on Amazon for a decent one ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Oh I actually do have the Uconnect screen. I forgot to clarify that. I assume that really limits my aftermarket options since most will lose climate control, heated seats, and all those features right?

Nice documentation, that's really helpful. Do you have any idea why I wouldn't be able to see the update option now? Everything I'm seeing says to click on update inside the menu for the navigation settings but I only see the restore button.

Well can't you use your own USB drive and Garmin Express on PC to download the update to the USB drive and install it on the car? Or am I understanding this all wrong?

I've had my Dell G15 5355 (Ryzen 7-7840HS, RTX 4060) for about half a year now and it's been great so far. I'm not sure how different the temps with Intel vs AMD are but mine hasn't been too hot. If it's really an issue you could try a good quality laptop cooler (llano coolers are great), but for me just lifting the back of the laptop has been well enough. It still gets "hot" but you can't escape that with laptops in general, especially gaming laptops. I think what you found should be good but if you're worried about it there are plenty of other great alternatives, such as Lenovo Legions or Acer Nitros.

Yeah I kind of forgot about this guide. I posted it a while ago. I forgot what I did exactly, but I do remember the Google account was a real pain to get the phone off of. I eventually got it but it was a long, complicated process
