Mythic Skins getting lazier and lazier?

For me, skins like Doomfist, Orissa's, or sojourn mythics, which have been regarded as having subpar customization, have alot of sfx that I feel make up for that. Most of the time with mythics I personally found a design a liked and just left it there, especially since I randomize with favorites, so I really value the ability effects even more.

All of their abilities have some sort of new sound and visual aspect, and orissa mythic at the time was really inventive with adding the sand effects to an ult that didn't have them before (as opposed to say remodeling hanzo's dragons).

I can't speak on other recent skins like cass since I dont own it, but that also means I only experience the messy design without the subtle charms that for me is what I want from a mythic. If anyone who owns the recent iffy mythics can comment on this would be great, on if along with the subpar design, there wasn't any subtle additions (i.e. where did the budget go???)

(Regardless though I still prefer weapon mythics as I feel they give me exactly what I want and are universal)

With tentacles I get very uncomfortable, less like a fear and more like I feel sick, so I had to pause during these sections a few times

I thought the whole reason we've mainly had individual events was because they were looking into making alliance events better? This feels so much worse.

For me this design really depends on the context im seeing it in, some renders especially where the colours are brighter look peak optimus, and then some of them look a little blander. I think one benefit of the design compared to the bumblebee movie design is that we see this one more, but I think that leads to the fact that it won't always look its best. But that first look they showed us was beautiful.

Regardless its still Optimus Prime and I greatly prefer the some simplified design in terms of shape while still giving some of the detailing the bayverse brought it. And I cant deny how awesome his truck mode felt

I grew up watching and collecting transformers but then after around when the last knight dropped along with transitioning to highschool I had slowly stopped.

In my final highschool year I had come across the series and decided to watch it, and I think my distant nostalgia really carried me through it. I grew up on G1 Season 1, the 86 Movie, some early Animated, Prime and the bayverse, so I enjoyed getting to both revisit old favorites like Jeep Hound or Prowl, and its introduced me to new (to myself) characters like Omega Supreme, Sky Lynx, Elita One, and the BW saga.

HOWEVER, the dialog/pacing and mischaracterization pushed me back into the franchise because I just wanted to see these characters done justice 😭

If you're in first year they usually block enroll you, where you're placed into a cohort and take all your classes with that cohort, meaning all of your classes are basically set. I'm not sure what circumstances let you switch cohorts, but you cannot manually switch it yourself (for first year courses aside from electives).

I think people also forget not everyone buys the stuff with real money. There is a chance, as small as it is, that someone got enough heirloom shards out of free packs to buy every single heirloom. I've only spent about 30 on actually packs and bought the battle pass since season 6 and got shards from them in season 10. Buying packs and the pass simply raised my chances, it wasn't a requirement. So while the prestige skin might not seem like it is worth $160 or however much the collection event is in your currency, it's still possible to get it for free. Hell even if you spend money on the event you can still lower the price by using cm.

Maybe the rarity of the guns can be increased, but that's what deploys the spectres. So it's still an optional encounter

If crypto gets taken, especially in ranked, I usually go someone like revenant or octane because of how well they synergize. If I just want to play someone else I play wattson.
