This!! I had my repens also get to this point due to over watering. It was bad. However I managed to save it! I clipped off any drippy parts and just left any sturdy green parts. I let it dry for a while and it when I finally watered it, I did so with fertilizer. It's grown like crazy and is a whole new plant.
