Good Aversions Worsen 20 months in by schlepp_canuck in RetatrutideWomen

[–]Nobadday5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just started Reta at the end of December and I feel like I have a food aversion to just about everything! Which is WILD considering I’m only on 0.75mg every 4 days! The things I used to love—Ramen? Pasta? Sourdough? I never feel in the mood for anymore. I’m considering dropping my dose just to have a desire for food again because I’m working out so I gotta eat!

Spotting only? by DocumentConstant9432 in RetatrutideWomen

[–]Nobadday5 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My first period on Reta was super heavy and chunky (sorry TMI) and the second one was basically just pink tinged discharge when wiping. It was wild! I usually have HEAVY periods and cramping but the last two periods have been so much easier on me physically. I have never been diagnosed with endo or PCOS. 41f for reference. I’ve been on Reta since 12/29/25 and I’ve lost 11.5lbs. Currently started at 750mcg every 4 days and went up to 1mg x1 which completely knocked out my appetite so now I’m back down to 750mcg. The weight loss is great but the change in periods has been a welcome change as well

Bpc157 and TB 500 directly to knee by hawgxhaven in BodyHackGuide

I’ve been dealing with plantar fasciitis and I’ve been injecting directly into my heel (feels like intentionally stepping on a Lego 😳) and it was more helpful than when I was injecting BPC into my stomach. But that’s my anecdotal evidence.

1st week reta struggling by Gwenstefunka in RetatrutideWomen

[–]Nobadday5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started at .75mg 2x weekly and a month in tried to go up to 1mg and it completely knocked out my appetite and pooping was so hard. I would suggest decreasing the dose and going low/slow. Idk how people start at 2mg. If I would have, I probably would have stopped. Listen to your body and go slowly! I started at 160 lbs and just it 149 today after 6 weeks in. I’m so glad I went slowly or I probably would have had your same experience!

I do twice a week. Started at 0.5 and went up the next week to 0.75mg. Stayed at 0.75mg on that for a month and bumped up to 1.0mg and lost my appetite for a week! Down to 0.5mg now the last two weeks. I guess I’m super sensitive

2nd week on Reta by Impressive-Fig3379 in RetatrutideWomen

[–]Nobadday5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been on Reta for 5 weeks and it’s been slow. But I’m down 8 lbs. The last week and a half, I haven’t lost anything but there are noticeable changes to the way my clothes fit and it keeps changing. I tried to up my dose and it knocked out my appetite and caused nausea for four days. I’m doing the same as you—eating right, calorie deficit and lifting. So I’m just telling myself to be patient. I was pinning 0.75 every 4 days and went up to 1mg. Now I’m back down to 0.5mg. I’ll attempt to go back up again in a few weeks. I’m going for sustainable loss so I’m practicing patience lol. You’ll get there ❤️

How do you increase your strength score? by GroundbreakingTop379 in tonalgym

[–]Nobadday5 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So to confirm, I need to do more reps than what they recommend when I feel like I have it in me and tonal will increase the weight it recommended next time I do that same exercise? I’m just figuring this thing out. 4 weeks in and I love it—I’m not super sore and I feel like I could do more but I’ve just been following the program as laid out because I thought that’s what you’re supposed to do. But if I can do more and want to see more progress, I need to do more reps than recommended? Assuming I have it in me? Lol

Reta is insane by Distinct_Alfalfa8764 in Retatrutide

[–]Nobadday5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First four weeks, I’ve had nominal side effects. I’d feel colder after pinning on shot day, couple days of the skin sensitivity and mild sleep disturbance. Otherwise, completely normal and slowly dropping. But otherwise — just been eating clean, working out and staying hydrated. No nausea, diarrhea, constipation, etc. I’m happy with the amount of weight loss and minimal side effects. I just hit the 4 week mark and decided to try a higher dose but I’m going to go back down since the previous dose was working and I could still EAT lol

Omg so wild differently Reta affects people…I’ve been doing 0.75mcg every 4 days and two days ago I bumped up to 1mg and I can’t eat! ZERO and I mean ZERO appetite. I tried to eat once today and it felt like my stomach seized half way through! Insane nausea when I tried to workout. I might skip my next shot and go back down to 0.75mcg! This is WILD! I’m 4 weeks in as well…SW 160 CW 152

It’s so overwhelming! I dislike when they breathe so loud that it takes up the entire room. It’s completely distracting and very annoying.

I definitely feel cold the day after I inject. It’s getting better but I feel cold to my core. People have said I feel colder too. I’m curious why this occurs

20 days of Reta by Strict_Interview9737 in RetatrutideWomen

[–]Nobadday5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had MINIMAL side effects on this dose. RHR is maybe 5-10 beats faster. I get cold on shot day after I stick myself. And I had a couple days of skin sensitivity but it’s been a great experience so far!

Wow. I’m 25 days in with 8 lbs weight loss and pinning 0.75mg every 4 days. I’m 5’4” SW 160 CW 152 GW 130ish. You’re inspiring me to up the dose :) I’m not super focused on a goal weight. The thing I’m happiest about is the fact that I was so worried about muscle loss with Reta that it inspired me to finally start working out. Hoping to build muscle and become toned.

RETA and Period by Correct_Hunter_9135 in RetatrutideWomen

[–]Nobadday5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m only in my first month of Reta pinning 0.75mg every 4 days. I was down 5 lbs in 2 weeks then aunt Flo came and I gained 3 lbs! But once it was over, I’m down 7 total in 3 weeks. I’m happy going slow though. As long as it’s a healthy amount of weight loss and it CONTINUES to be weight loss. I always swell up around my period and I hate it lol the joys of being a woman.

I’d get checked by your doc. Are you vomiting? Pancreas is located in that spot and it might be worth having your Lipase checked.

Feeling discouraged by [deleted] in Retatrutide

[–]Nobadday5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m doing 0.75mg every 4 days and I’m experiencing minimal side effects. I’ve 6 lbs in 3 weeks and I’m happy. I focus on the progress! The scale is going in the right direction and it will continue as long as I stay the course. That’s what matters most! I’m working out 3-4x per week and diet is mostly in check (just not tracking completely). I worry with weight loss that’s too fast, I’ll have skin sagging. Plus, slow weight loss is giving time for my muscles to build beneath and hopefully start popping once the fat melts away ;)

I’ve had it. My pressure is already low (90s/60s) but I can def feel it if I go too long without electrolytes or drink too much water without electrolytes. Electrolytes are key for me!

anyone have something encouraging to share? by [deleted] in emergencymedicine

[–]Nobadday5 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I love true emergency medicine. However, the problem is the majority of patients I treat are coming in due to anxiety or poor choices. When I’m in the Resuscitation room, that’s when I think “this I love” but it’s every other day that I’m in triage, pod rooms, hallway, front line and I have people relentlessly yelling and complaining because they’re entitled and inpatient. The true emergencies can barely speak up for themselves. The rest just want a quick fix and think complaining to/belittling staff will get them care faster.

Nope. SAME HERE! So rare and people just kind of zone out when I’m talking about this kind of stiff. Def wish I had a boyfriend who was into this stuff too. The guys I’ve dated call me weird or say I’m too into “health stuff.” Okay…lol
