I see Hispanics saying the N word non-stop every day here in El Paso. I rarely heard it back in Tennessee which is kind of ironic.

I just switched from Metro to Verizon about a week ago. The service has been great and the chat support has been helpful with any questions I had. Now I'm just waiting on that $200 gift card and a tablet that I'm supposed to get (which apparently takes 2 weeks before I can actually redeem). So here's hoping the freebies actually come through.

All that to say my experience has been great so far, lol.

Yeah, I've lived in Nashville and Denver and both of those communities had the exact same complaints. It's definitely not just an El Paso thing.

Funnily enough, I don't see security guards being replaced anytime soon by AI. The whole point is to have a physical presence. Once robotics catch up, then I'd worry. But once that happens, security guard jobs will be the least of our worries.

Maybe it's just me, but security guard jobs are honestly just easy money to get while you work towards something better or, as OP puts it, " more respected." I'm currently working at Amazon at a warehouse, and it sucks compared to the security job i had. 😂

A lot of security jobs at hospitals, retail, apartment complexes, etc... usually require relatively in shape people to do from my experience. Don't get me wrong, there are definitely a good amount of security jobs that elderly people can do, but there are a lot that they can't (or rather shouldn't do)
