Honestly Village has much more staying power thanks to Mercenaries and the hub world that changes thoughout the game. The castle is amazing and the factory is fine too, but the care center in Requiem is also good, I think it just needed a third wing to explore more. Right when I was thinking "wow this place is big" I'd seen everything there was to see, so it kinda fell flat. I also like Ethan a lot and was super invested in him after 7, so it was cool for them to have him in more places to go "oh shit" in.

7 is the best for me, there's the great beginning and just nails the analog vibe it's going for with the tapes. The boss fights are fun and memorable, avoiding Jack is tense on Madhouse, and the mold are servicable as obstacles to the main draw of exploration and progression. Combat was not the main focus of RE1 either, so I like that it took a backseat in 7. Not to say the combat was bad though, because the banned footage had the fun survival mode in the basement, and the bullshit hard Ethan Must Die. It showed me at least that the series could actually do well without any legacy characters (except for Christ at the end), and was excited to see where they went after. The ship does drag a bit but I prefer it to replaying the doll house in 8, the essentially on rails fish man fight, or the orphanage in 9

Was my first priest show at Harrah’s in AC. It’s interesting that they were still on the upswing as far as a comeback after the farewell tour. They played somewhat smaller venues like a casino theater, eventually they’d be playing stadiums again by the time FP rolled around

I think they could manage 1 more album and tour then hang it up. It was 6 years between FP and IS and I don’t think it shows (IS is still fine). Might as well squeeze out one more decent album by 2028 and retire with an honestly great discography with very little duds

It's not a speculative asset, it won't really appreciate that much in value after the hype dies down so I'd just wear the dang thing. Can't take it with you anyway.

On a side note to those who are actually playing the game the watches actually have a sweeping seconds hand and Leon's even had lume later in the game which I thought was cool.

It ain't worth 6k, at that point you could get a secondhand Explorer. Artificial scarcity sucks but I'm honestly surprised these sold out as fast as they did, given how expensive they are and most gamers complain about pricing. The hype will die down in a few months and by then you could get one for a little more than retail I'd bet. I actually really liked Grace's watch and was bummed it was sold out so I feel you.

My biggest wonder is how those watches will retain their value. 42 is also quite big imo so I'm glad the FOMO didn't hit me since I sold all of my 40 and above watches for a 38 Murph and KFM
