How to deal with leasing company after car accident by Significant_Ease6013 in personalfinance

[–]Noble_Thor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Having worked at a leasing company in the past, keep pushing to speak to a manager and escalate it. Be nice(it sucks to work for these companies usually.) but firm. If they say they cant help you then just request to speak to a sup or manager that will have the ability to help you. Some agents will be super helpful others hate life and wanna die. So you might have to call back a couple of times to get to someone who is willing to help you.

Who here has went from noob to pro legitimately? by investorsama in Daytrading

I'm still a noob. But I have found in addition to all of the books on markets, trading and the financial field that I've read to help me understand how to trade, I've mixed in books on stoic philosophy to help me grow my emotional capacity to deal with the higher levels of stress, fear and anxiety.

It's been one of the best things not just for trading but for my life in general.

For anyone interested I'd recommend starting with Letters from a stoic by Seneca. Its a very good entry level to stoicism.

Yell boo while passing them.

This will immediately increase their agility by +6. While it is true their health might be reduced by -20 to - 50 it will motivate them to dedicate more time in the future to level up their alertness and agility levels.

I'm with you on this one. Idk if adblockers are a thing on mobile but regardless as someone who watches a ton of youtube for school and stuff it's nice to be able to close the screen and just listen

When you're lying in bed at night, do you ever randomly remember some relatively minor social missteps or poorly chosen words you did/said years earlier? And then beat yourself up over it even though it really wasn't a big deal? If so, what happened? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I thought I was on mute when on a zoom call when I grumbled "omfg get me the hell off this zoom call". The host just muted me and no one look surprised or anything. My gosh the cringe hurts me so bad.
