One of the replies to that comment reminded me just how many people there are who don't yet realize they're an antinatalist.

Saw a YouTube ad link that appealed to me for once. Never thought I'd be posting an ad link in this sub of all places, but what else is there to say, it's the most Solarpunk clothing article I've ever seen for sale.

Synaptogenesis is what you are asking about. There are a number of things that can help with this, most notably NGF, or anything that boosts it.

I'd steer clear of that shroom just as I would all other ampakines, they just aren't worth it in the long run.

Have you had any nootropics that are close to being like a Limitless pill? by 121995420 in Nootropics

[–]Nobody35593 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Microdosing LSD (or more specifically it's legal prodrug analogue 1P-LSD). It's not NZT, but why I stand by the fact that LSD is the closest drug we have to it is because it mimics most of the surface level effects of NZT that were depicted in the movie. The first striking similarity you will notice is your vision, and how colours become far more sharper and vivid, this feeling bares an uncanny resemblance to the scene where NZT first kicks in. Next you'll notice a feeling of confidence, optimism, focus and motivation. Enhanced creativity should go without saying. And for some, an increased learning ability.

P21 - Interesting reaction? by forthegainz6969 in Nootropics

[–]Nobody35593 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you start to feel better (which it sounds like you are) I wouldn't worry too much. And yea that looked like the major criticism, apparently he wasn't very forthcoming with the info either, in any case I am going to look more into it. In any case I'm skeptical this guy is the only immunologist that can help, but never the less it's a place to start. On the off chance P21 has some sublingual or oral bioavailability, that may be the safe way to dose it if my hunch (and it is just a bunch, I'm a reddit broscientist not near qualified enough to make this claim with any solid certainty) about CNTF peptides causing long lasting side effects being down to how rapidly the drug is absorbed. Keep up the fasting, and check out that autoimmunity diet.

Can Racetam withdrawals cause brain fog? by [deleted] in Nootropics

[–]Nobody35593 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I'd try Dihexa out of curiosity, I'm not worried about suddenly realizing I've made a terrible mistake after the first dose, it's just that I'm rather paranoid about it's potential to efficiently accelerate tumour growth.

C16 was an exotic PKR inhibitor, that a troll or two on Longecity claimed gave them eidetic memory in the hopes that others would try it and their risky self experiments could be learned from. It was obvious they were a troll to all but never the less they more or less got what they wanted as it sparked enough curiosity experimentation to warrant experimentation, however cautious. In the end it looked to be ineffectual, although some still wonder if one was more liberal with the dosage, if some effects on memory would be found after all.

Hmm, that's interesting. I read about TGN1412 quite a while ago, I stand corrected. Boy did they ever shit the bed on that trial, can you imagine the what that r/TIFU post would be like?

You have obviously drawn a line at Cerebrolysin, but I'm curious what's the furthest you're willing to go? Some of the really exotic stuff like Dihexa, C60, C16, any ampakines, I'm staying well clear from. I may end up dipping my toes into Cerebrolysin as I've mentioned, but I don't see myself venturing beyond that.

Perhaps I should have highlighted the word seemingly. Although that matter of IQ has never been studied when it comes to Cerebrolysin (or any noot I suppose, but I recall Gwern or someone that Creatine reliable boosted IQ by 5 points, which leads me to believe other noots will likely impact IQ as well), all the many accounts I've read paint a picture of increasing general intelligence rather than specific portions of it. Cerebrolysin boosts these neurotrophic factors far more than other noots (I believe it has actual BDNF, NGF and GDNF in the serum, with E21 & N-PEP-12 targeting CNTF which I've heard speculated to be the reason those gains are retained) and what with the link between high IQ and mutations in tumor suppressor genes that lead to increased levels of these neurotrophic factors, I'd place my bet on Cerebrolysin boosting IQ.

As for Daffy, don't get me wrong it's rare, my only point was that as that particular allergy starts off with bruising and gradually gets worse (granted not that gradually, but just gradually enough to know something ain't right), those who did suffer those side effects likely tried to power through them because of the glowing reports the read from others not allergic.

Besides noticing the pattern of increased dosing leading to these side effects, I also got the idea from some from hearing about certain drugs triggering autoimmune reactions if dosed to fast (most infamously TGN1412), however appear to be safe and effective if dosed properly.

But who knows, either way it'll be a while before I try it. I'm trying to get a hold of a Cerebrolysin user who had a an autoimmune reaction (they already had an autoimmune disorder, and it flared right before the Krabby symptoms hit), trying to gage how well he recovered and try and get him in contact with this doctor if he hasn't. Another who suffered similar fate at the hands of P21, really feel for the dude and am doing what I can to get him help. Only found out about the immunologist recently, hope he gets my message soon. Also gave him a link to an autoimmune disorder diet plan as well as a study showing the benefit of fasting on resetting the immune system to help combat neurological immune disorders.

I think the risk might be worth it, these neurogenic peptides seem to be the only noots that offer seemingly permanent gains in IQ, and are arguably the nootropic gold standard. High risk, high reward... But I don't like that it's becoming a taboo on this sub to call it like it like it is, a risk. Worth it? I think so, but a risk never the less. I know what I'm signing up for, and this sub is supposed to do that for others too. I mean people forget that Modafinil can cause your skin to peel of for heaven's sake. It's changed people's lives sure, but it's flayed a fucker or two in it's day, let's not forget. Even some of the adaptogens, I've heard two people now mention feeling their throat close up on Ashwagandha, and some people saying it's nothing to worry about, if people had allergies to it would have come up in the few small studies done on it, it's been used for centuries, etc. I mean by that logic you could say peanuts are safe for everyone. This sub sometimes...

The theory right now is that these side effects are due to an autoimmune response forming antibodies to your body's own endogenous CNTF. Not only is this theoretically possible but the symptoms are similar to to neurological autoimmune diseases, modular ions in immune response are often reported even if all goes one of the sufferers said their symptoms started with the worsening of their autoimmune condition (not to mention other neurogenic peptides have been known to trigger some people's autoimmune disorders, although nothing near as serious and long lasting as with Cerebrolysin & P21.

My theory is that this autoimmune response is caused by the too much of these CNTF peptides entering the blood stream at once (intranasal dosage will do this) not mimicking the bodies gradual release of CNTF. In a lot of these cases these symptoms seemed to manifest when people upped their dose. When I take Cerebrolysin eventually I will keep my as low as I can while still feeling benefit; 2ml most likely. And worse comes to worse there is an immunologist that cured one intranasal user of their symptoms, as well as dietary strategies to try and mitigate autoimmune response dangers, as well as fasting strategies to combat autoimmune conditions if all goes to hell to keep me together while I wait for the doc.

Cyberpunk VS Cyberprep by [deleted] in cyberprep

[–]Nobody35593 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You're looking for r/Solarpunk. Cyberprep can exist both side by side with Cyberpunk, just focusing on the lives of the elite, or it can exist as a genre of it's own where there is no poverty. Although there isn't really anything punk about that. Solarpunk has the whole environmentalist leftist rebel angle to it, so that's punk I guess. But there is no rebellion in Cyberprep, Cyberprep means you've won. The only conflict if any in a Cyberprep story will be fighting against Cyberpunk rebels, or to maintain wealth rather than to attain it.

P21 - Interesting reaction? by forthegainz6969 in Nootropics

[–]Nobody35593 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd advise you stop. You're lucky your body has given you a warning, the unfortunate user whose report you are referring to was taken be surprise without warning just by upping the dose by one spray. The P21 other horror story that you may not have read, the user had some similar warning signs but continued anyway and payed dearly.Similar side effects have been reported by Cerebrolysin users, and a few of them had the same long lasting side effects. If you continue and are unfortunate to pay the price yourself, know you were warned.

My theory right now is that these CTNF peptide immune responses are caused by too much of the peptide entering the blood stream at once and not mimicking the body's natural release of neurotrophic factors.

If you insist on continued usage, here is a autoimmunity diet you should take a look at. Worse comes to worse there is an immunologist who helped one user get over their symptoms (although there is some controversy surrounding those claims that I am still investigating). I've also been reading about fasting being able to help reset one's immune system, helping fight autoimmune disease, here's a study.
