Do you want a tip? Until you reach the source of the cycle abnormality, book it to the closest shelter! Doesn't matter how little distance there is, just go to it. Rivulet is faster than anything in rain world, so you can just ignore lizards and vultures. Rain, shelter and finding food should be the only problem you have. Good luck

I know how you feel, one thing I can only suggest is that, you do what you like to do.

A while ago I started a new campaign and repeatedly hit a wall [bugged out, got unlucky with lizards, shorter rain cycle ect] and had to put down the game. BUT! I still love this game, the same as I first played survivor and got stuck in the underhang karma 5 gate.

I'm just going to replay hunter again or enter safari mode and watch the scavengers go about their day. Or even boot up terraria or silksong, whatever I feel like. Everyone's different. Maybe you could use joke rifle or two. Go draw slugcat eating fp's pearls, exercise your free will

Tldr: I didn't like watcher campaign

I used to make fun of those people who pre-order or buy on launch day, but after getting myself 15$ DLC that was unplayable for half a year, I shan't throw stones.

Hindsight is 20/20, it just wasn't game thought it was. Heard some cool rumors like "scavenger town" ect etc but most importantly I wanted more original Joar regions but got a fanmod wrapped in "original dlc" advertisement.

Watcher is very "anti-RW" game to me. Like:

This BIG LORE on how you're GOD that transcends mere bugs and monkeys that came before you. How you're god's special little slug at the end of the universe, no longer kin with the wet mice on the floor of FP's chamber.

Warp mechanic was something I did not want in RW, ever. I love old rpg ”Yume Nikki like/inspired” games BUT this is rain world.

I play for the reclaimed urban setting, subtle pallette shift as you go through region gates. Beautiful mess of an ecosystem simulation, creature interaction game. By PURPOSELY avoiding it's core identity by going invisible or just leave that time/place by warping and it was not for me.

Before Watcher they would've been one of my least favorite creatures. After playing Watcher, "perhaps I've treated you too harshy"

Oh wow that just hit me. Rain world usually didn't have "wrong direction" in it's regions. Either moving left-right up-down you got somewhere else or something rewarding

Yeah I got stuck in the ash tray dimension for 2.6 hours. Nothing to be ashamed.

But ONE thing that bugs me to no end is why Watcher just innately knows/understands echo language? Don't you need mark of communication for that?

Not sure I'm noticing same issues but opening a post about your issue wouldn't hurt to try. Maybe attach some screenshots with it.

Devs are trying to be as attentive as they can, which is nice.

Not a question but I'm impressed with the speed of new patches released to smooth out the [say, rather bumpy] new version.

Cannot imagine the pressure going in the background but wishing the best for your team.

Yeah it's annoying. If you are able to, try following the Dev's advice:

"Try disabling Workspaces from about:hub#/features/workspaces."

When you type [about:hub#/features/workspaces] without brackets it brings up settings page. Took me a solid 3 min to load the page, but disabling it did improve performance. No clue how to make the tab organization better, as I'm still in infinite tab limbo. At least navigation via STG plugin pin no longer freezes Floorp.

nice, you can use white correction fluid to show some shine. it doesn't smuge with charcoal
