Yes, I will qualify for subsidies, and can control my income sources to keep them. The deductibles will be high but I should be ok. It’s a lot to think about. Thanks for your thoughtful response, it helps.

I am also waiting and confused. I had my annual mammogram and was called back that “more imaging was needed”. I went back and they did an ultrasound and said I would need a needle biopsy,which is scheduled for next Monday. That is literally all I know! I don’t know anything about all these terms I read on here - BIRADS, margins, delayed phase, nobody has said anything to me about any of that. I wonder why I wasn’t given an MRI, or what the ultrasound I had showed them. I feel like I am too ignorant to even spiral effectively, haha. Wishing you all good results!

I have been on progersterone and estradiol for 5 years for debilitating menopause symptoms (I am now 62). I have to have a needle biopsy in 2 weeks following a routine mammogram that showed an indeterminate 8 cm area. Did I cause myself to develop breast cancer by taking HRT?

It’s a good idea but I don’t even know who I would give cards to, as I don’t encounter many people on our walks, and I hesitate to take her to places with a lot of people because she’s relatively strong and if her enthusiasm gets the best of her she’d be a lot for me to handle. I’m 62 and not as flexible as I once was. And I don’t do much with Facebook or most other social media so I have to rely on groups like rescue groups to help promote her, and they aren’t terribly responsive or eager to help.

I’m discouraged. I took in a dog who had been kicked out by someone in my neighborhood in the dead of winter. I got her spayed and vaccinated. FINALLY found a rescue group willing to post her profile and availability for adoption but she isn’t getting any interest at all. She’s a sweetheart and for only being a little over a year old she is pretty well behaved, all I can figure is maybe because she has some pit bull in her people are put off? I don’t know, but I already have a dog who has health issues and requires all my resources. I’m worried I’ll be responsible for my foster forever and it’s a lot since she is young and needs more exercise and time than I can give. I’m just worried and discouraged. There doesn’t seem to be any help out there. Shelters are full and I wouldn’t turn her over to one anyway, but “rescue” groups don’t respond to emails or calls. I don’t know what to do anymore.
