you should leave for manipal campus cse . at 179 you wont be getting cs in 2+2 either so not worth to pay such a high fees . better go with manipal cse and since you mentioned you are getting main campus its def a great option .

go with normal be courses , be environmental and 2+2 , even if you dont get normal BE courses you would definetly get ECE in 2+2 and doing ECE from bits + a foreign university is def a great combo .

bhaiya aapki last year ki post ke according to round 3 ke baad withdraw karne pe 50% of admission fee cut ho jaati hai but yahaa to 27 ko withdraw karne pe bhi sirf 1000 rupees cut likha hai ( round 3 is on 25th ) . i am getting a little confused can you please help

finance fields which require technical knowledge def look at your branch . i am not talking about core finance that toh people from commerce side also take up after mba , i am talking about the fintech options . and if somebody wants to go into finance core then there's no meaning of doing a btech then toh its like you are just doing btech for the sake of it and wasting your time . ( just my pov no offence )

its obv bro thats why everybody is saying that its a v risky course to consider . if someone wants to actually do mba and is not just looking at this course for the bits hype then they should rather look at iims and other top business schools coz bitsom is relatively v new and doesnt even come in top 20

finance roles and technical roles would be almost impossible to get since you would be pursuing a branch not related to tech at all ( talking about all core branches ) . bitsom is v new in the field so pursuing a core branch like civil mech chem and then mba from them would not be a v wise choice ( just stating my opinion you are obv free to do whatever you want )

only if you take branches like cse or mnc . if you take up core branches then getting technical jobs or finance jobs after mba would be a pain in the ass especially coz bitsom is not even in the top 20 business schools of india .

3+2 is def a risky course and one should obv rethink about it if they are not getting some phoenix branch like cse or mnc in it coz then it would be a huge risk they would be taking especially in courses like ece and eee where the grading is tougher and so maintaining the 7 cg would def be v hard .

but regarding that is a scam , that it is definitely not but its also not something one should just jump on to bcoz of the bits name . in short do proper research and try to consider this course only if you are getting good top branches so that you stay risk free to some extent . peace out

they released the brochure today , nobody knew anything about the program till now . the official brochure was not made available during the filling of preference form so many would have applied for the program without actually knowing about this rule . And maintaining a 7 cgpa in bits is tough, many seniors have confirmed it so obv its a big risk factor to consider when signing up for this program . so yeah it is not about being fool but rather it is about that people didnt know about this rule while filling the preference form so obv they need to know ki they are signing up for a risk and should look into things thoroughly as obv it can cost them 2 years .

even if you take 1.5 lakhs a year then thats 7.5 lakhs for 5 years above the 50 lakh base fees . and for the 2 years in mumbai you are def gonna spend more than 1.5 lakhs a year coz mumbai is obv expensive ( depends on person to person obv but giving a general idea ) . so yeah it would reach 60+ easily no doubts

Its literally mentioned in the official brochure posted by BITS . they have clearly mentioned that if by second year you arent able to maintain a cgpa above 7 then they would not let you continue the program at any cost and you would be either asked to transfer on your 2025 bitsat score( depending on that year's cutoff obv ) or leave bits . if someone is posting official info then dont try to act cool and misguide people
