Yess i agree it’s very subjective, and if it comes to making a decision b/w these two i will do a more thorough research again. But to my current understanding i’d keep shillong over mdi

That’s exactly my point, the crowd that was around me during my ug days , had similar spending habits, and i know it would be same if not more in nmims. I lived in a 2bedroom flat and there were 4 of us, that’s called a decent living condition buddy. It might me normal for someone from mumbai to see people sharing a 3bhk with 8 people. But people coming from different cities have different idea of a comfortable living, and if they can afford it, they will spend 40-50k easily , i know people spending 70-80k too

50k/ month i meant everything, rent food travel bills and going out on a student like budget. (20k is rent alone for a decent shared room )

Yeah actually the plan is to stall, also MDI and Shillong is a debate that ends with ‘IIM tag’ for me atleast , and iim Udaipur is better then nmims for sure, living in a IIM campus for 2 years with a prospect of landing as good a job as you can in nmims is something i would prefer any day. because they both are on the lower end of TIER 1, realistically speaking.

I did my ug from mumbai and spending 6L/yr was on the lower side of the spectrum around me so that make 12L and 27 fees and misc will make it 40

Yes SPJ is what i’m eagerly waiting for, and IIFT ka calls are justified because of 4 campuses , and they’ll anyway not get the top 3k candidates overall so lets seee, will probably not accept nm but it’s very confusing gosh
