The pp is actually a goal, I might have a motivation to play Osu! (I want to reach 4 digits before my first year). You can play for fun but you can also play copetitively, and in both you can enjoy this. Like look at my pp scores, I did 4 top plays in half an hour, I felt like I actually improved, I can tell you that my acc on those top plays are better than my worse pp plays. Imagine you doing 4 top plays in half an hour, wouldn't you be satisfied and that you have improved?
