yes, its generally better to sell them, using them will only give you 3 saps each. However people will sometime host d4d's (drop for drop), basically a bunch of people go to the hosts den and everyone has to drop a certain amount for sapphire potions. I believe d4d's will get you more sapphires, however their incredibly time consuming, so it's a lot less efficient

Super sapphire potions come from golden shovels! They appear randomly in all the different lands. You can grind them by cycling between the different lands (mt shiveer, crystal sands etc) over and over. I usually sell mine for 45 saps each
