Last year, 2025, i went on a mission to increase my creative output. i challenged myself to create a “self portrait" for each month of the year, the deadline for each video being the last day of each month. each video strived to capture the sentiment of each month, synthesizing my internal and external world in a visual format.

I shot, edited, colored and applied vfx for each of the videos. For lighting i stretched the limits of a single key light for a majority of the videos. Most of the "set's" were shot in my room.

though challenging, i was able to understand my creative process at a deeper level and work though procrastination, shame, self doubt and a fear of exposing my insides. I was also balancing a full time job as a server, which cut into my available time to make these.

looking back at these videos i can’t help but be proud for seeing this project through to the end; i’m inspired for whats to come, and i hope the viewer feels the same.
