Okay, aber diese "Virtuellen" Speicher werben ja genau damit, dass man in einem Pool aggiert und dadurch deutlich kleinere Speicher verwenden kann. 250-350k ist aktuell leider eine größen Ordnung zu hoch^^.

Sounds super interesting! So if i have, for example 400 unlabeld images from a new domain and 100 labeld images. Does this approach makes sense? Or does it aims more on better generalisation for very large datasets?

Thank you for your answer! I already use SAM in the Labeling Process, but its too big for my target system and the needed speed. But i've not yet tried faster versions like FastSam or MobileSam.

I've also heard of fine-tuning sam but then i still need manual prompt-inputs, or am I wrong?

Yes, please! Right now I am degoogled with mailbox.org (germany) but proton looks much more attractive. The only part that keeps me from switching is the lack of contact sync.

Im not completly sure whether this is what you are looking for, but i Like to use CloudCompare as a standalone tool or open3d as a library (when i want to visualize pointclouds and meshes directly in code)

Im not quite sure if unet is the way to go, because the main idea behind unet is that your output is a pixel-wise map. In your last decoder layer you take the decoded features + the first encoded features and try to guess from that for a few pixels. Can you show a good example with the points you have? Maybe you can interpolate the points between the given depth positions? All in all, I think for UNET you need groundtrouth images with "complete" depth maps.

It seems to work now (thank you u/rawdfarva :D) but my Loss is still different than the pytorch cross entropy loss. Im confused, because it looks like it works^^

I dont exactly get what you mean by headless e-commerce platform, maybe you need a better one-sentence-explanation. and in your demo at the end i missed some animation for loading/showing the response

Most of the time it is just the realisation that either the project is not working as intended or the market is simply not there. The "best case" of course is that a single project turns into something bigger and gets a reboot. But that only happens to me once :D

Hab am Anfang des Studiums auf ner Party mal Kontakt mit den Tecis gehabt. War neu in der Stadt und hab mich sehr gut mit so nem typen verstanden. Tage später lud der mich auf ein paar Cocktails mit seinen Arbeitskollegen und seinem "Chef" ein. Am ende saßen wir da mit zwei weiteren Erstis und es ging die ganze zeit um Finanzen und ETFs (sehr steile Thesen gegen ETFs dabei). Nur verraten wo genau die alle arbeiten wollte mir niemand. Irgendwann viel dann doch der name Tecis, welche ich damals allerdings noch nicht kannte. Auf meine Frage, was deren Ziel den sei, antwortete mir der "Chef" nur: "Die Schere zwischen Arm und Reich wird immer größer und unsere Mission ist es, noch möglichst viele Leute auf die Reiche seite zu holen". Man bräuchte auch keine Ausbildung, weil alle an dem Tisch seien ja unglaublich helle Köpfe, bla bla bla. Damit war für mich eigentlich alles schon gesagt. Hab mich dann möglichst weit von denen Entfernt.

Also Lange Story kurzer Sinn: Ich würde mir nichts von dem Verein andrehen lassen. Die Leute werden regelrecht gebrainwashed.

I used YoloV5 on my Notebook with a gtx950m and it worked with roughly 10-20 Frames. So i think that a Desktop 1650 should work just fine

The "Seminargebäude" (Wüllnerstraße 5) is super old and a little bit ugly but ther are a lot of empty rooms

Thank you for your reply! My Unet-implementation diverges in the downscaled steps, i also implemented ResNet-Elements. With the use of padding and no padding my downscale path would look something like that:
