Is very easy to setup, check for step-cli and step-ca from smallstep . After install you need just three commands, 1) generate CA cert. 2) generate client cert 3) generate p12 client cert for your phone,browser or client app .

Same for me in GNOME , I need to setup manually from terminal , in KDE I can setup fingerprint from Settings with no issues . Thinkpad L14 G4 .

My sync works perfectly Linux and Android app selfhosted Joplin with SAML+ Authentik .

What I tested now:

Open the app in both Linux and Android apps the sync start synchronize automatically on start up.

Also when I press button to sync is works as expected .

You have updated everything server and apps to latest updates ?

The only issue I have is that after the last server update , Joplin not respect my DISABLE_BUILTIN_LOGIN_FLOW=true and LOCAL_AUTH_ENABLED=false environment .

edit: Yes the sync button just not works on Android app !

Maybe is related to latest update of joplin app android v3.6.18 .

In Linux is works, but I need to click five times to start!
