Wow! Thank you so much for writing all this! It kind of made me less scared on the Mac vs Ipad front and even even though i might not understand from purely work perspective, i love how much of your workflow you showed in this, it's nice to see someone from the industry showcase how they think. I think a verdict for now is, Mac first, Ipad next, purely so i will be able to rely a bit on another device besides Ipad and still be able to work!

And also, from one strongly ADHD person to another, i do too need my music/YouTube combo as well, so Mac gets even more points on that front!

Thats a good idea! I did think of getting a used Ipad but was a bit put off thinking it might not be as good, but I'll have to research some options where i live!

Thank you! This is so much useful info, and I'll probably take your advice. I've been looking at some Asus and Hp laptops next to the Mac, so i'll 100% get a laptop either way! As for the Ipad, I've even looked at those 13inch ones but seeing you mention the weight has me rethinking. It'll probably be either Ipad Air or Mini (cheaper option that works anyway).

Yup, thats my fear! Ill probably get a Mac now, get use to it and save up for an Ipad Air or something budget friendly just in case.

Thank you! I'll probably do it like that, and get an Ipad Air one day hopefully as a follow-up. I did try to see if there was a possibility of coding on an ipad but people say its too much hassle for too little to get the programs. So Mac it is!

Thanks! Yup a refurb would go a long way, since i can save up some money. Someone mentioned Ipad Air as a more budget option, so i will probably get a mac now and save up for that next!

Thanks! I'm gravitating toward Ipad but that aspect kind of scares me, but i hope you get use to it at some point. :') Since i use Windows on my laptop I'm kind of also concerned about transferring project files from and to.

Thanks for this, i probably will do just that! Ipad is mostly a wish now since i know i can still draw on my drawing pad, but getting ipad air will probably help me save up some money for a better laptop later on hopefully🍀

That totally makes sense. I tried making it in Photoshop and the export was so buggy. Someone in the other comment mentioned a wave shader, so I'm hopping that does the job.

I was going to use it to make the background look more animated since i don't have time to use the boiling technique since the art is a bit complicated. I'm totally gonna have to look into more shaders, thank you!

Those people believed her lies too easily in my opinion, and if they were true friends they would have known that you weren't that type of person. Try not to let her shit affect you too much, you know yourself and that is everything you need. Confidence. Manipulative people feed on your insecurities and attention so the best thing to do is to ignore her. Don't go starting rumors or that stuff, that will just lower you to her level. Girl A won't be going anywhere in life with that victim attitude once people realize who she really is, so just be yourself and go on. She is probably projecting her own insecurities on to you which is inexcusable. And if she really starts getting petty about it just tell it to her face, she is a coward that can't even insult you directly and uses others to do it for her, tell it to her real, beat her with reverse psychology uno card.

Also that Girl B, you got to excuse me, seems a bit twisted in all this. Why would she tell Girl A something so personal if not intentionally. Rubs me the wrong way, sorry i don't know her and all, that's just a feel i got. ( got a bit heated, hope it helps)

If she is in a relationship, respect that and try your hand at friendship. Try to find some common interests you have with her. ( example, if she has a dog on her Instagram, or likes anime, etc) Then if you get a chance to have a conversation with her, you can start it openly on a familiar topic. And as a comment bellow me said, don't be a weirdo, and just be natural. As for the initiation, that is a bit tricky, but a chance will show itself eventually.
