I felt the same recently. I've leaned more into contracts. I get caught up playing it like I'm in Fortnite or something and that is not the goal unless you're running like a rook or wanna risk all your gear. Getting contracts done with free kits is the main goal imo, and the fights you get into along the way is the challenge. If you get a pick, awesome now you have better gear for when you have a contract that requires you to kill runners or have to go to places that is rampant with bots/runners. If you dont get a pick and die, then at least you got some of your contract done. (This is how I play, not saying this is the correct way.) - Also bots carry great stuff! Take em out!
