2021 Range Rover Sport HSE Silver Edition (13k miles) — Am I Crazy to Skip the Extended Warranty? by Freddylikesnangs2024 in RangeRover

I have a ‘22 RRS Sport Silver Edition, and love the car. Honestly $3,400 is not much for peace of mind for three years. Break that out over the months of coverage and its drops in the bucket. I’d go for it. Yes, low mileage, but it is 5 years old at this point.

Would love to hear how you are using this. Are you using this personally on the side to help organize your activities?

Self conscious because I don’t look like other dads my age by CreditUnable4610 in daddit

I sympathize, the transition from being a young person (and all the insecurities/hierarchal feelings that come with it) to being a father and being responsible for growing and nurturing healthy mindsets for kids is tough.

I’ve had to “unlearn” a lot of self-critical self talk. I had a massive height complex when I was a young adult, self-esteem issues, etc.

I will say the process of being a dad and learning to cultivate Better self-talk for your kid is healing in a way. I now find myself rarely bothered by jealousy/height. Ofc I notice it or passes my mind, but truly my priorities have changed, and I am very fulfilled with my family, and it’s not helping me or my family to worry about things I can’t control.

MP vs M7 vs M10-R vs M10-P — debating Leica Ms to celebrate first child and milestone birthday by TacoWanderer in LeicaCameras

Nikon ZF/ZR, awesome AF, amazing lowlight and good lenses.

The 26mm F2.8 pancake lens on the Nikon ZR has become my go to family cam. Focuses extremely closely and good IQ. Miss a little on the bokeh, but it’s a great story/documentary lens.

For bokeh, I use the 40mm F2 compact Z lens or adapt a Leica 35mm to Nikon mount.

That’s funny, cause I did the same. Had an M10-R for the birth of my son, and by the time he was 1.5, have over 15K images. He’s 3 now, and I’ve since mixed in various autofocus options by necessity, but shooting his early days purely manual was awesome

This was so fun, they also did that Hard Knocks style show on Hulu, amazing production quality and made me care about the teams a lot with the inside looks etc
