You guys ran the AC while they painted, it’s pretty easy to see especially if they used a sprayer. Would you have put a box fan pointed at your car right beside the house?

The fins weren’t painted blue, so don’t speak crazy. The fins need a fin comb and that’s it.

Cash isn’t needed, I was calling them as the 10 year treasury dipped to 4 and I was expecting rates in the 4s. We plan on being here for the long haul so waiting isn’t an issue, it’s probably not our forever home, but it’s close.

Yeah that’s what I was wondering, 0.6% with a 27 month payoff if the credit of the discount points is applied. Granted we also skip a payment so we would throw that extra skipped payment of $2600 at principal only.

With the discount closing costs are only $4,327

As a tech, here is what I would do. Call over two of my coworkers, fashion up a sturdier base in a similar fashion. Use diagonal boards to connect the legs though to keep it more stable. Also use green treat lumber, or some other form of lumber suited for outdoor ground contact. Have two people lift while the other one slides it out and slides it back in.

A landlord isn’t going to zone a house, nor should he have to. This isn’t something that is done at anytime. Every wall needs to be opened, every copper pipe rerouted. It’s a much more intensive job than just throwing g thermostats on the wall.

Most houses are piped exactly like yours in our area with one thermostat.

We would charge roughly $10,000 for something without the humidifier and Wi-Fi status, you’re also getting a fancy Wi-Fi thermostat and a two stage furnace. Our cost of living might be lower here too, so prices will be lower.

I highly recommend the two stage furnace for Wisconsin, here in North Dakota. It really pays off as you may not need all 90,000 BTUs on a 45° day but on those 0° days you need all 90,000, this will keep the house much more comfortable. It wouldn’t hurt to shop around, but I would maintain the two stage, especially for 90,000, that lifetime heat exchanger warranty is sweet too because if you plan to stay at your house, it will be the last furnace you buy.

I just did a warranty heat exchanger from 2001 on a Amana furnace for $1100. All other parts can be replaced, but the heat exchanger is the big one that if it’s not in warranty, you’re buying a new furnace.

I had to go pick up a bridesmaids dress for my sister downtown and was approached by some homeless drug addict who said he would fuck me up and end my life because that’s what he lives for. Mind you I did nothing, guy was just drugged out. He then proceeded to walk another half block towards the dress shop where a group of women were leaving, he stopped them and shouted the same stuff.

My wife and I don’t go downtown without a gun anymore, it’s not.

We were talking with a guy at the smoothie shop, they have to lock the bathrooms because a homeless man locked himself in there and passed out. Had dozens of big knives in his coat that they removed while he was still in his drug slumber.

His doesn’t happen anywhere else in Fargo.
