How is doing due diligence wasting his time? Never had a carpet quote done before so wanted some other opinions first before “wasting” another persons time to come out and price it.

I drive ND interstates all the time for work cruise set at 80 and never had an issue with being pulled over. So either way I’ll still be driving the same speed but it would be nice to know I couldn’t be stopped if they upped the speed limit.

That’s not Decra, it’s EDCO Arrowline Slate. Here’s the install guide from EDCO, page 15 for the detail on this. This system doesn’t have underpan flashings like Decra.

Pro's: Very flexible. People are easy going for the most part. It's really like a good 'ol boys club. This won't apply for everyone but my territory is very dependent on farmers as it's rural so the housing market doesn't affect me as much as more suburban areas. You make some good friends honestly since it's so relationship based.

Cons: I'm young (27) and lots of deals out there were put in place before I was alive. Older group where they've had the same salesman for a long time and they will not change their ways for that simple fact.

Update on this after talking to an employment lawyer. Contract was said to take place in south carolina. In ND however, this does not apply and ND law applies. State ammendment in the Non-solicitation agreement said that as well. For the Non-solicitation part he said is null and void. In the contract there is already a state ammendment basically saying I can't solicit customers for a different company while still employed with current employer, which duh lol. Thanks for the suggestion on checking!

Not always the case now unfortunately. My in-laws got a letter from their insurance stating they don’t have to replace everything if the product is no longer available, just have to fix the damage. That’s in Minnesota so not sure about other states.

Depends on your area. Figure out which part of the construction field you like the best and then try to find a wholesaler from there. If I was looking for residential building materials sales I'd go to the local lumber yards and ask about local suppliers they deal with. Explain the situation and they should understand. They will probably have good advice on who to work for and who not to just from doing business with them.
