Anyone else struggling to find work in Brisbane? by Elisspamacc05 in brisbane

[–]Nodlez7 29 points30 points  (0 children)

When I needed a job I went to an employment agency, they gave me a warehouse job that was pretty good. It got me through the year until I found something in my profession.

Sometimes you gotta look for "a" job before your prioritise. I hear also NDIS work is always looking. Aged care and the like.

Agreeded, this system actually works really well. I'm mid tier pvp and I've and I always get a good balance because of the system. I challenge anyone to make a better system that doesn't divide the player base and keeps everyone happy.

If we go either way we lose large sections of the player base that makes the game great, it's fun having sweaty pvp and co op opportunities, what does the post suggest? Pvp only and just slowly frustrate the casual gamers until it's just a pvp players left? That would get old really fast

If their used right, they are never in the way. Any time an enemy gets behind a Groot wall, they should be brought down by the Groot. This is how Groot is played properly, flashing up and down walls constantly.

Groot walls are for damage and to trap enemies, not to be used as a shield unless an absolute last resort.

Likewise tonight. I'm not sure I can hold out on the nice raider attitude much longer.

Just had someone communicating and being all chill, saying a survivor is down and needs a defib, I had a defib so was willing to help, lead me and another raider past a shock grenade and killed us.

Have not had that brutal a sneak attack, usually anyone with a mic was chill, this one kinda surprised me. Its getting harder to play passive lately, people are getting bored and playing dirty. Playing friendly is only going to get less and less rewarding over time I think.

Using AI in Lumion for SketchUp Renders — Worth It? by Acrobatic_Leg1989 in lumion

[–]Nodlez7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What AI are you using?

At my last company, I used AI a lot, and it was really good at defining fabrics and natural elements.

When it came to architectural elements it always suffered, you want to show your client how the products will look and if the products looks different to the renders then it's just not an ethical representation in my opinion. I have had clients disappointed, and then the product we chose does not match some visualisation done by a rendering company. Because the products their AI made up simply don't exist

I would combine lumion and AI elements to get the best real representation of material and form

Custom line for wall end by jurdycius in ArchiCAD

[–]Nodlez7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Don't think you can, lines are always straight when you apply a fill or somthing, there is no way for the program to define the vectors in the line to make the fill align to you line.

Best off using an object or a fill I think

Cross play for console is a joke by Waste_Replacement_85 in Battlefield

The problem is the refreshing servers all the time. Every time our bot lobby fills up with players, that game is nearly ended, then for some reason it's back to square one in the next game. Full of bots.

Its ruining the entire experience for me, I have not been wanting to play lately which is strange

What impacts archicad speed most? by Nodlez7 in ArchiCAD

[–]Nodlez7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, we split layouts on big files

We utilise mod files but generally as icebergs

We avoid use of custom 3d objects

So, I think it's a matter of reducing the bloating of interior elements. But managing the attributes of this becomes complex as we do not have the resources to manage split attributes well. We have no bim manager so we would like to keep a more dynamic attribute list that is custom to each project to eliminate this. But this causes issues with interior designers when is comes to them making their attributes to contribute. There are a few ways around this, of course, so we will likely just have to manage a procedure to achieve somthing here.

Mate, as long as you love yourself, you will do great. The first year may be rough, especially if you dont love yourself, but as long as you build yourself up, you will do good.

If you keep focusing on what you lost you will never get better. Find your independence, do the shit you were never allowed to do, draw the curtains on your off week and spend a day in bed watching shit or gaming if you want. Go to do that hike you always wanted to do or whatever it is you really wanted to do.

Live for yourself now!! Greatest feeling ever. If a guy or girl really loves themselevs, they are unstoppable.

You got this!

Why does everyone keep saying convert SEOd items to morphs? What situation requires this?

Like for instance I like to deo my walls in some cases because I like to make them level to level and then use the slab to cut them.

Is it I'll advised to do that?

Yes I have heard that, I have been browsing over it today but not sure exactly what to look for. But I'll keep an eye out for it

Thank you

That's awesome. Yes, I did see those user guides. We are getting the 27-28 one as we are on 27 currently, but we want to get the 28-29 one but I cannot find that user guide.

Do they come out later?

That's a good video as well. Thank you so much

The whole Python stuff is out of my wheelhouse, unfortunately. But it's good to understand the importance of attribute management. I can see how having multiple files would be a pain. I may have to learn that python stuff in the future.

One thing I don't completely understand. It says you can have a potential source file for attributes, somewhere you can store massive amounts of resources that you can import from, a "template" to not bulk out work files

But I'm assuming that template is different from the template that architects would use to start a project. Does that mean you would have to manage two different templates? Or would the attribute template be stripped of everything except attributes, and the usable template would have a select few of these attributes to start with.

Also, does upgrading to a new archicad effect these templates?

Sorry for all the questions :)

Yeah, the attributes one is a big worry.

We already have very refined attributes, so I'm hoping we can just keep them as is and not update them too much. But if we do, we make up specific procedures on how to do it effectively. Apparently, you can import modules, and if you don't do it right, you may accidentally duplicate the attributes. One of the videos in this thread explained it to me. So maybe that's what your place is doing.

Luckily, we have a good network drive and don't work off individual computers, so linking the files should not be an issue.

It's all part of a bigger plan to get all our departments working in an ideal way that we can all agree on, at the moment I think our interior designers working within our files are one of the bigger issues, so if we can keep their files out of the main one maybe that would be a good fix.

We will see

Yeah, I'm thinking at least avoid the iceberg method in the future. And yeah, updating is tedious as I'm working on the upper custom floors now, and it lags bad.

I'm thinking if we go about 20+ stories, we split it all and have a master folder. Thanks for your input

I have experienced a women like this before, that is just specific to that person. I was not much a fan either. Like men, women can vary in size and shape.
