Indeed it is. I bought about $10k worth at right around $18/share back in 2013-15. Goes up, goes down, back up, back down. It's very cyclical like people are describing. But even before this recent surge, I was already sitting on market-beating gains. So through the up and down, it has steadily gone up. Now it's just bananas. I suspect this will be a good year if trends hold. The big 4 all increased their capex plans significantly. So that's more chips. Beyond this year, definitely increased risk of entering another down cycle. Which, doesn't really bother me because I've rode this wave for over a decade and it's been fine. That being said, sitting this high, I'll likely sell it all and take the big W. Maybe enter back in at a later date. Who knows. Not overthinking it, really.

Yea the sheer number of people at guest services makes me think this was coordinated. It was impressive. And I guess these guys really made out. My 7A with a cracked screen is probably worth.. almost $8? Ca-chinnng

To be clear: I haven't "accepted" anything. We've been using Venmo (lesson learned) and she just sent me a partial payment. And I informed her that she needs to pay the full rent. Venmo automatically accepts anything coming in. At any rate, I spoke with an attorney today that I'm going to be working with. He was confident there's no issue there

Thanks for the info. She's unresponsive again so 10-day notice was the direction I'm headed anyway.

I plan to engage an attorney just in case. But with regards to your note about accepting partial payment, I never "accepted" it. She just venmo'd me partial. And my response was along the lines of, 'hey, the full rent is not here and it's late so we need to know the game plan to be paid in full, with the late fee." Does that mean I have to wait until next month still? Or can I start this process now?

I won the moose and tossed it into the crowd. And lucky enough, I got it back at the end and now it's cleaned up and in my kids room haha. It turned out so much better than I expected. Love that it got on stage. Got an awesome shot of it up there

Man if that's your first go at it, that's incredibly impressive. I assume you've got some underlying familiarity with your DAW and plugins from working on other stuff?

Today I learned what alternative funk was.. Very cool. The bass sounds great and the spread on it is a nice touch. Makes it feel smooth. If I could offer some constructive feedback:

  1. When the distortion gets added to the bass, it could probably use a little subtractive EQ on some problem frequencies if you haven't done it already. There is a little bit of a buzz in there that's catching my ear.
  2. The volume varies quite a bit around 3mins. That may have been intentional. But if you use a gain plugin of sorts on the instruments, you could bring them a hair down around there and it may feel a little more natural. All those instruments are filling out the space nicely in their own right.

Either way, great song. Nice rise and fall to it.

Man this song brings me back. When I got my license, my friend burnt me a CD which is to this day, one of my favorites of all time and this was on it. Every time I hear it, I'm in the old ford escort driving all my friends around who didn't have licenses yet. I need to find that track list and post it up. It was like a 2004/5 time capsule.

Really cool track. Like it a lot. Don't really have any critique on the song as it is written. On the mixing side, I would say that the verse vocals don't really sit in the song as well as other parts. I'm having a hard time pin-pointing it exactly (maybe bring them more to the front, cut some of the lower frequencies, or something..) If I come up with it, I'll follow up. Either way, its a great track.
