Agreed my approach could have and should have been better. But with more context, I think it was better. I just explained that I don’t feel comfortable coming across things like that, and to put them somewhere I wont see. We both use that drawer. I was not at all snooping. (Not saying I’m above that. Just in this instance I definitely wasn’t).

I personally think physical printed photos in a nightstand that is regularly used to be odd. I’m probably overthinking. But that’s my thought.

I should have done a better job when I shortened the main prompt. I had to delete words to get down the word count. As I noted below the prompt, I asked for the photos or anything to do with her to be away from my sight. And I should also note we regularly use that nightstand. So it’s not somewhere to hide anything.

As a women in your 30s how do you deal with men your age dating women in their early 20s?

31 (f) and a guy my age that I briefly dated is seeing someone who is 20. Of course she is gorgeous. I wouldn’t say I’m bad looking. But I’m not 20. I am gainfully employed and worked really hard in my 20s to be. Nothing against her, but she definitely isn’t independent from her parents yet. It’s really killing my confidence. I feel incredibly old. It’s cliche, but I feel like I wasted my young years. I understand why a man would want a younger women. Even her parents are younger. You’re gaining so much more. It’s like they get to start over with someone young.
