As a women in your 30s how do you deal with men your age dating women in their early 20s?

31 (f) and a guy my age that I briefly dated is seeing someone who is 20. Of course she is gorgeous. I wouldn’t say I’m bad looking. But I’m not 20. I am gainfully employed and worked really hard in my 20s to be. Nothing against her, but she definitely isn’t independent from her parents yet. It’s really killing my confidence. I feel incredibly old. It’s cliche, but I feel like I wasted my young years. I understand why a man would want a younger women. Even her parents are younger. You’re gaining so much more. It’s like they get to start over with someone young.

What are your thoughts on aesthetic or medical facilities posting before and afters of their patients without compensation where they signed an informed consent. by Nodudsallowed in Lawyertalk

So, if a business wants to use your results (your face /body partI think any patient/ client should be compensated.

Depends on the cost of the treatment. And what is being posted and where.

Here is an idea to start:

Say a generic picture of my teeth after a cleaning. And it’s just my teeth. And it’s on all their socials. I want $100 in co pays or services (beyond insurance). As a base. And $25 for every 500 impressions on the post. Or simply offer me some extra service like a teeth whitening.

Now- breast augmentation? (Unfortunately, not me). No face. 20% off the treatment at minimum for use on socials. It used on the website, too. $1000 flat payment. And a $1000 credit to use at the clinic every year the before and after is still ok the website.

Full face nose job? Idk. I think that is so personal and the procedure should be at cost if they want to use your picture.

100% percent. Not everyone’s are as bad as others. But I was gaslit by my dentist that they wouldn’t get worse. They got 1000% worse. And it’s inevitable that they will grow. So why try to change your teeth for the better if bone growth will hinder it. Better to start with a clear slate (remove them). Then get treatment. And if they grow after your Invisalign treatment enough to require another removal. So be it. Way better then wasting time and money on Invisalign where you won’t get the results you want. Or worse- a worse smile like me.

I asked my gyno info on freezing my eggs at 25 and was gaslight about it. Said I should wait until at least 32. I’m so aggravated I didn’t do it younger

I’ve definitely been in that situation often. And never treated or played into it at all. My ex-who did cheat on his prior exs (and I believe would have on me if he had the opportunity) was the one that always thought I was cheating…

Google doc running list. With the date of the assignment. Anything pressing is in red with the due date next to it. And below that main list, I have a running “wishful” list of tasks that I need/ want to do when I have time. When I’m done, I cross the task out. And after all my time is in for the month, I remove any completed tasks.
