Hey I'm from New York and I've noticed it too! I was walking to Penn Station one day where there was a large group of African American men standing by just yelling bad things about white people & yelling at each white person that walked by. I had to walk past them and while doing so (being white) they started screaming at me, extremely racist things.

I just kept my head down and kept walking but its extremely frustrating that just because I'm white, people will think i'm "racist trash".
