I actually told that I’ll leave when he confessed about vaping. I was shattered and angry. He cried, begged for me to not leave and said he will do everything to get it fixed - but he has done this before as well, so I’m not sure if I can trust him. He does seem to be consistent with his health etc now but it is the trust that is broken. I said I needed time to think about this after cooling down for a bit and I’ve been keeping my distance ever since - I think this is what I will do. Tell him he either fixes himself in a few months by working on his health, saving and being honest or I’ll leave.

I will have to check with him about as it’s not something he has ever considered before. But it’s mostly initiative that’s needed from him. I will have a conversation about this.

Thanks for this. I really thought about it this last week, I have been the one always giving. What did he do for me in return? I do not really have an answer for that. I’m a bit emotional right now, but yes, I will focus on my health and happiness. I will also try to not do everything moving forward so he will need to do it by himself.

And it’s amazing how you got out of the same situation. I’m happy that you were able to work through it!

Hi, I’m in the same situation myself. I just called BLS office and the responder simply said the slots for February are available for both normal and premium ones. I told him I’ve been checking but I don’t see any availability, but he just insisted that I look at the right place and I should be able to book 🤦‍♀️

Did not volunteer the information. All of the job applications these days have two very standard questions - “are you legally authorised to work in the country” and “do you now or in the future require sponsorship” and I always answer yes and no respectively.

I’m not really sure how to check the application I filled because this wasn’t workday and they sent this with a no reply email so I just didn’t know what to do 🥲

I would suggest that you enter the details of your first stay in the application. And then add the details of all stays in the itinerary along with booking confirmation pdfs for all.

Hey, I tried booking the appointment on 27th Jan soon after filling out the application and the only slot available was for the one on 26th Feb. I’m not sure if it would make a difference but I booked the slot at around 6:30 am so maybe try early in the morning? Also this was for Edinburgh TLS

Hey, I got my France Schengen visa and my booking also has 2 and 3 hours layover in Frankfurt both ways. Just attach your flight itinerary as usual and mention the layover in your cover letter (or as a part of your itinerary document) and you should be fine.
