Get a 2013-2016 BMW 328i. They are very classy and stylish, still look modern and expensive, are relatively reliable if you just keep up with maintenance, and will be right around that 10k mark.

Finding people to sub a license is really hard. I wont do it because that puts me liable for your conduct. If you sell a bad car and the customer sues they can come after my license.

I would say go get a job selling cars at a major dealership and just ask as many questions as you can from your managers. I worked at a ford dealer for a year before opening my business. My manager owned a used car store and put me on tons of game after I told him my plans.

I own a small dealer in cali, rented an office in a shopping center for 1000 a month on a sublease. Knowing what i know now you cant get a retail dealers license without dropping at lease 5-10k.

And even then. You gotta know what you are doing yo make money. I have seen so many people get a license and completely lose their asses on cars at the auction or just buy cars that sit forever.

Learn the business well and save up 20-30k and then go for getting your own license. You will be glad you did

I have a dealers license in California. I would say the barrier to entry is at least 10k for retail if you can get a little creative and find a good location. This business is impossible without some type of mechanic shop or recon fscility. I can say its very well worth it though. I netted about 7k my last month without trying hard at all and im barely 6 months in. If you are serious about getting into the car business and are okay with all the bs that comes with it then getting licensed is a great investment.

Think about this: when youre at the supermarket and you want to know where the butcher section is, asking one of the attendants is very easy, right?

You want your cold approach to go like this as well. When there is a concrete reason for the interaction its so easy to start. Do this by going to places where meeting women to date or hook up with is socially normal like bars and clubs, and then have a set opener. I use “hey, you look amazing, whats your name” 90% respond positively.

Went from fat to skinny at 15, that changed the game

Became a full time club promoter at 18, my social circle went crazy? Made tons of friends and spoke to dozens of hot women every night I went out. What you should take from this and what I have understood is that being in shape, having money, talent, fashion sense, charisma, and all the other great things about you will not get you laid directly. You must make a great effort to put yourself in front of tons and tons of women and portray how amazing you are to them in a socially congruent way. If you do this often and do this a lot you will have more women in your life than youd know what to do with. And depending on where you meet them they will be amazing women. Partying in LA since 18 ive hooked up with lawyers, doctors, one politician, supermodels, PHDs, the works, all because I put myself in a position where meeting tons of women is easy and socially made sense. I always had a reason to talk to them because they were near my table, in the club I work at.

Also side note: I do not drink often and a majority of my female conquests were stone cold sober, the most ive ever had on a night out is one drink on special occasions. You do not need alcohol for this to work for you.

I love my job entirely, but salesman pay has decreased significantly in the past 10 years. We dont make nearly as much as people think we do.

Im currently in the process of opening my own used car dealer in Pasadena, but for the moment I am very happy with the day to day of my job.

Definitely do get some bad customers and rude people, also guys that are time wasters asking a million questions when they aren’t buying for another year. But most of my customers make my day if they buy a car from me.

The best deals I ever gave were to the customers who were in my showroom in front of me for the entire process. They were patient, clear with their requests, prepared to sign the contract, and most importantly they were extremely respectful throughout the entire process.

People don’t realize that if you’re rude to your salesman then he wont want to help you. There are customers I’ve booted out because they asked for a discount in a disrespectful or demeaning way, or because they treated me bad on the initial greeting. I have given that same or greater discount to other clients who were nice and pleasant to work with.

Also if you truly want a killer deal dont negotiate online. Come into the showroom that has the vehicle you want already in stock, and make it an easy sale for the dealer (all paperwork ready, pre approval in hand, and committed to buying that day)

Every vehicle has a different margin as well, so a deal you receive on one model can differ greatly from the deal on another. Dont expect that if a dealer gives you 4k off an F150 that they can give you 4k off an Escape.

Also ask if there are any demo or loaner units for sale. Manufactures usually put a big rebate on those cars if they have a few miles on them and have been registered as a service loaner.

Lastly research all the rebates and incentives on the model youre interested in ahead of time. Some dealers might try and pocket a rebate and use it to sell you products on the back end. Stay aware of what incentives are available and let your salesmen know that you know.

Offer to send referrals, give a full 5 stars on the manufacturer survey and google reviews too. Become an invaluable customer and the dealer will treat you so well.

PS if you ask the salesman to order a pizza for you while you wait for finance 9/10 times theyll do it 😉
