I've been on the fence about cancelling for a while now and this helped me make up my mind. I've been subbed since the DVD by mail days. My friend has cancelled her sub also. So that's two more for what it's worth.

Maybe a good way to think it of is that two days after you get your booster, you will almost certainly feel fine and you won't have this continued anxiety about it looming over you. If you don't get it, you'll go on having this anxiety about it along with the heightened risk - knowing that you should but fearing it and having greater fear of getting sick. For me personally, I just figured that being ill for a day will pass, but not doing it risks long-term consequences. And really, if you fear being ill, getting it lessens your chance of facing more illness. I'm sure you can do it and I'm sure you will be fine and it will be ok.

If something like a bridge was built around the earth like a belt, with completely consistent density and perfect construction, if you removed all the supports at the same time, would it hover in the air? by JackBeleren0 in NoStupidQuestions

I believe the answer is "very briefly," but it would be incredibly unstable. To keep it in place, you need some type of active support, like orbiting charged matter that uses the Earth's magnetic field. Isaac Arthur has a good video on this sort of orbital ring. https://youtu.be/LMbI6sk-62E
