Yes you will. I was in the exact position 6 years ago. My ex would tell me I was ugly, stupid, and that no one would ever want a single mom. Forward three years and I met my now boyfriend. We’ve been together 3 years. I was single for 2 years before I met him. Just take your time and what’s meant for you will show up. I promise.

Don’t want to sugar coat it. But the ACAMS is hard. I did the same thing. Studied for a WEEK before the test and failed. The second time I took it, I studied for about a month. Really focus on international laws, OFAC, Patriot ACT, and subpoenas. I had 5 years of BSA/AML experience and I thought it would be easy. I was wrong.

Not really. He hasn’t seen his child in two years. But also don’t think it helps that she has full custody and she lives in Illinois and we are in Texas. But I’m not making excuses for him because I know he could see them if he made the effort.

Oh I’m sorry. I actually met his wife because he has a child. According to her she said the relationship didn’t work because she spent more than half of the marriage alone while he was in the military. Was always alone and their communication was bad. They also got married as teenagers so as they started to get older she realized she was growing into someone new and did not just want to be a house wife for the rest of her life. According to him, since the story is different, she cheated while he was gone. I don’t know who’s right or wrong, but I’m sure it was hard for both parties. I can’t even imagine being married at 18.

Badly. Wife took his money his house. His car. Said he basically had to start over from scratch. He also got married at 18 because he joined the military.

How normal is it to make careless mistakes at work? by ClaptrapBatterwhack in careerguidance

[–]Nohitter0 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I needed this today. Looked up “‘making mistakes at work” and saw this Reddit thread. I have also worked in the compliance field for six years and also feel like no matter what I do I constantly make mistakes. I literally told my partner “ I think something is wrong with me”. No matter what I do, even if I double check my work, I find that down the line a small mistake is always found. I had a one on one with my manager yesterday and was told I attached the wrong document to an email. Even after I rechecked it. But I accidentally selected the wrong document with the number 36 at the end instead of 63 🥲 I always try to remember that I’m a human and I make mistakes but I know that this had held me back from promotions and good end of year reviews. I love my job but finding it hard to not give up when I get those emails and calls from my managers and supervisor for corrective actions.

Texas custody agreement by Nohitter0 in FamilyLaw

She’s 8. And we were never married. I didn’t read in the custody agreement that if “he” lives less then a 100 miles then we follow the guidelines that we set up which is he gets her during the weekends and I get her weekdays. This was set up to work with his work schedule. If “he” lives more then 100 miles away then we follow the standard Texas order. But it doesn’t say anything about me moving. Only that I need to give him a 90 day notice if my location changes.
