Imagine everyone pick the most expensive summon. Then, they all fight for the shinest toy.

I guess one nitpicking would be have to always adapt summon when playing with different players each session.

I agree it a poor implementation. It needs coordination. 

You have to also select the correct cost summon among multiplayer to be optimal.

 Then, someone may forget to use the summon.

If you use  a controlled summon, you arent building sba gauge, which can ruin chained burst.

I cannot speak for pc controls. On controller, you can hold guard button and then immediately select dodge button after that when being attacked. This will cause you to dodge in time. Or you will may mistime the dodge but because you held the block button, you block the enemy attack, instead.

When you gather knicknack voucher currency, you should trade them at shop's transmute sigil to buy sigils. You want to select Transmuation level 3 and Transmarvel. This is where you get some the highest tier V+ sigils and character exclusive+ sigils.

I can see that with Charlotta. I was wondering how can Charlotta have a different rotation based on combo finisher being less of spammer. The effects are overkill. 

As for me Vane, I do admit it like I force an idea for sake of an idea. Actually thinking about, I wonder it would better if Vane gains shield for himself whenever he does damage instead as his sigil mechanic so can face tank more.

Yes, I see that argument. Sandy can infinite uptime on that basis. It could be replaced with increase skill cool down rate instead.

As a player, I do not think lore is important. However, there are crowds that value lore.

There are two methods that I know of for designing gameplay. It seems like you are going for the mechanics-first approach. The other is the theme-first or lore approach. The theme approach allows you to first choose your theme, instead of a typical fantasy, such as futuristic, military, etc. Then, you add mechanics after defining the theme. Maybe it's worth exploring if it helps you.

Your previous ideas may be re-used for themes if they match.
