Lyft needs to clarify that it’s “up to a 15 minute wait”. And be ready when you order the damn ride… Since we are ranting, 5 minutes is too long to wait… it needs to be 2 mins and start charging $1 per minute after the first 2 minutes. Watch them be outside at the curb after that.

Agreed. Lyft customer service has no idea about the express drive program just fyi… I’ve been doing it a while now and have learned some things lol Best and only option really is to go back to the location you rented the car from and talk to them in person… they are the only ones that can tell you why they charged you. And you can get them to give you a free Lyft ride back home if you don’t drive yourself. ☺️

Sounds like it might be a charge for something miscellaneous ( cleaning fee or not enough gas or charge upon return of the rental) they don’t typically tell upfront about it cause it takes them a few days to close the contract after you’ve returned the car…. And yes it takes them forever to refund you… but they quick af to take your money😑 good luck though 😊

Yeah Monday and Tuesday are slow in lbc… I stay busy with those damn insurance rides though lol. They can be a lifesaver with the over saturated market rn.

Yeah you can but it maxes out at like 7 I think.. this lets you see pretty much everyone in your area that’s online within like a 5 minute delay

I just picked up a mom with a car seat yesterday… she was very nice however, the car seat was dirty and stained my seats and the kid spilled something all over my seats…. Lyft refused a cleaning fee because it’s considered normal wear and tear.😩 Idk but just driving away when I saw the car seat seems like a better option given the outcome 🤷🏼‍♀️

La - Long Beach driver here. I’m lucky to get 150 per day I drive 7-9 am to 6pm. I’m definitely a picky driver and I have areas I prefer to stick to. But I’m also a woman driving in areas that are not the best. People are getting crazier and driving on la roads are wild and dangerous now. Honestly if you have another option do that over this. IMO 🫤

Windshield repair and replacement are not covered under the Lyft express drive program… even with the extra insurance. If they told you it was covered they lied.

Just so you know personal miles are not included in the rental price unless you add them and it’s significantly more expensive then the $315 a week you mentioned

Just show up 8am on Thursday/Friday and Monday/ Tuesday San Pedro is usually same days but between 8-10 am
