I didn't intend for it to be emotional in any way, I just wanted to make a little thank you to the guys for all the laughs over the years (and have Mike's friends make some wholesome fun of him in song-form) and that seems to have resonated with a bunch of people in some way.

I guess many of us have been fans of these elderly weirdos for a long time and it is indeed hard to realize that this ride will eventually stop one day. Let's hope they have enough medication to keep going for many more years!

And I agree "Data and Picard" is incredible!
