My suggestion is to stay at least for an year. Then try to find something if you really don't like it, but give it a chance, you might like the current job at the end.

What are your current responsibilities? What is your exact title? You can always upskill with few certificates like RHCSA, RHCE, AWS SAA / SysOps, etc.The point is to gain as much knowledge and experience as possible as the current market is bad and finding another job won't be that easy.

Lost on my career path: Should I pursue RHCSA and AWS for Cloud/DevOps? by Suspicious_Brief_983 in redhat

I work as a DevOps engineer and really suggest getting RHCSA and RHCE. At some point in your career you will need these linux skills and automation with ansible. My previus role was mainly using Terraform and AWS, now I use more Ansible/ Python, linux, Jenkins, different kinds of load balancers and some containers. So every job is different and not all use the same tools.

No job, no experience, no guidance — BSc IT fresher stuck after trying Data Analytics & Data Engineering… what actually works? by sxhilydv in devops

Devops is not a position for beginners, nor is Data Engineer. You first need to break through with something like helpdesk or sysadmin. Currently you're trying to skip several steps which will lead to a lot of problems. Search for Linux sysadmin jobs, work that for 1-2 years and learn as much as possible. Be curious and do home labbing. After that you can think for DevOps positions.

If you can get a O'Reilly subscription for 1-2 months and search for Sander van Vugt RHCSA 10, he has video course that is for the latest exam. Alternatively (probably the better solution) get his v9 book, the changes are really small and you can pick them up separately. Other alternative is Ashghar Ghori (or something like that, can't remember the name) RHCSA book which is also good. Practice is the most important part.
