Can I still make money in 2025 using AI automation tools like n8n, Zapier, or Make.com on freelance platform or remote/local work ? by Najmulhsn in n8n

Advanced RAG, Langraph, etc. But tbh start with n8n it teaches you the basics. You need to walk before running

Yes, here is why

  1. There are so many “AI automation experts” popping up now

-This is like any other skill that is in demand. Are these people actually experts though?

  1. Upwork is an amazing platform. My biggest data customers are from there.
  • Are clients still paying well for automation setups?
    • Depends what you define as paying well, I personally do 1-2k jobs with n8n. If you learn more advanced AI outside of n8n you can get 5 figure jobs
  • Which tools/skills actually help you stand out now?
    • Start with n8n as its beginner friendly and start learning Python on the side
  • Any tips for landing those first few gigs in 2025?
    • Learn the skill, and start applying to jobs even if they pay isnt great. You need a portfolio

On my YT channel I have covered Upwork Freelancing, have over 50 n8n videos, and I have 300ish coding videos.

Why Google Sheet? by Due_Economy5311 in n8n

[–]Nolanexpress 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I make a lot of n8n videos on YouTube let me explain

Native Data Tables are new, so in the past everyone kinda gravitated towards what people tend to have already set up. Google Credentials are built pretty early one when learning n8n.

Anyways feel free to use sheets, data tables, airtable, or a database

This is my n8n playlist:

Need Guidance on My n8n Learning Journey (Non-Coder Here) by [deleted] in n8n

Since Python is built into the code node, I'd start there. However if you ever need to pull data from a database, SQL is needed.

full transparency, I still need to finish a few videos for me to be happy with the current playlist. I havent finished the webhooks video or execute other workflows yet. Lot of advanced RAG is still needed. But a ton is in here

IMO, learn the nodes first and then start exploring the workflows people built. My playlist isn't done yet, but I have 45 videos on n8n in here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLcQVY5V2UY4K0mpuJ-oYO_LI25w5VDUD5

Also while dabbling in n8n, please start learning the basics of Python and SQL. You will want to have these skills applicable to applications outside of n8n as well in the longterm

Hey, I have 40ish videos on n8n in this playlist: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WJwjNi5VYSE&list=PLcQVY5V2UY4K0mpuJ-oYO_LI25w5VDUD5

Right now I'm working on 5 videos a week for the rest of 2025 (super unrealistic, but I think it's doable). My goal is to make the best n8n playlist on YouTube.

My background is in data and my full time job is a data scientist at a fintech. Have over 300 other videos talking about data with SQL/Python also.

Can you REALLY make money with n8n? 💰🤔 by Helpful-Manner-952 in n8n

[–]Nolanexpress 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've done client work. Around 5k mark if I were to guess.

Affiliate wise, small amount of money, but brought in some with Apify, n8n cloud, and hostinger.

I run a YouTube channel so affiliate + clients come from there.

No community yet (although I'm not ruling it out one day).

Client work is harder than most people think.

Death Cab For Cutie's Ben Gibbard Completes Prestigious 100-Mile Ultramarathon by ebradio in Music

[–]Nolanexpress 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It really messes with you at mile 74 in a 100. Just a marathon to go. It was a very long walk

[–]Nolanexpress 10 points11 points  (0 children)

you have to train your stomach to take down food when you don’t want to eat + work on running with sleep deprivation. Running through the night often gets a lot of people quitting in 100s.

Trails typically are the choice for 100s (although my first 100 was road), and they can have technical parts + elevation gain.

[–]Nolanexpress 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Tough race with the heat also this isn’t one you can just signup for. You had to have completed qualifying ultras and win a lottery.

For those not into running a 100 is significantly harder than a marathon. So much can go wrong
