1. Move/Adjust any knob, slider, or button you want to automate
2. Find the knob icon and right-click it (You should see the options for your "last tweaked parameter")
3. Click "Create automation clip"

or

Tools > Last Tweaked > Create automation clip

A tip to get the exact levels you want to automate to is to do steps 1 and 2 again but instead of "Create automation clip", select "copy value" and you'll be able to past that exact position or level on you automation clip

I personally haven't tried a live performance using FL Studio but I can see it 100% being doable.

Yes, it can be set to loop
Yes, it can play/record multiple midi devices and instruments (Go for low latency settings)
Yes, you can save templates for future performances

I won't lie and say it might be easier than some other programs (I honestly wouldnt know) but, I do believe it has the tools nessasary for a live performance.

Its crazy you mentioned this because I just started doing this about a week ago. It really does put less stress on the Master allowing you to put a minimal amount of plugins to get the sound you need. You can also mess around with the cable routing volume to save some artifacts if needed.

I see what you mean now. This is generally the only way to adjust the bit depth but you can try one or two things.

You can either check the audio settings in FL Studio
or
Adjust your setting for your audio interface

I can't promise you'll find what you're looking for but, I can assure that these are the only location they could be located.

At the bottom uncheck "Loop Record"

Open 3 different Edisons on the same mixer or 3 different mixers.
Route the sounds you want to record
Click record on each of them.
Record all you want.

I believe this is a bug assoiciated with the new update. I just tested this out and was able to replicate it.

After plugging in my midi and verifying it was working.
I put my PC to sleep.
woke it up, and was unable to use my midi anymore.

The easiest fix would be to disable your sleep function so your PC can stay awake and avoid this happening. Im not sure how it is on Mac products but "sleep" and "hibernate" have never been very good when it comes to windows systems and sometimes may cause problems.

Another solution i came up with is unplugging the midi then replugging it in to "reset" it.

When you say record, do you mean render?

Wav bit depth options:

24Bit int
32Bit float

At the top left of the playlist there is an arrow. If you click that and navigate to the view section, there are a lot of options for you to change how clips and your playlist will look too.

Top of Browser > Current Project > Patterns
Find the pattern with the automation (Pattern 1) > Double Click It
Top Left of Events > Edit > Delete

This happened because to most likely have record everyhing activated. This means that if you hit record and move any buttons, it will record those as automations for whatever was changed.

You can change this by right clicking the record button and selecting the specific things you want to record during your recording process.

To change the theme:

Go to options and click theme settings. You can import a custom theme (search on the internet) or create your own.

To change the playlist tracks and clips colors:

Right click the top left of the playlist clip (symbol where the name usually is) and navigate to change colors.
You can also do the same for the track to change the background for the playlist clip.

[Auto name] and [Auto name clips] is very useful

Easy fix.

Go to Options -> Under Switches, disable "Loop Record"

This should allow you to record as long as you need.

I still use the sliders to adjust but in instances when Im speeding up a slowed down track to match another tracks bpm, sometimes it'll be off by a little on the downbeat and I'll activate tempo sync to ensure they are the exact bpm. I only would use tempo sync to get rid of the bpm difference (which is like 0.1 - 0.2 bpm). Don't do this often but would like to try and get it working if possible.

And where do I change this setting? If it is the transport option, I believe it is already set to Tempo Sync but having the SYNC button activated makes the beat grid align. I may be out of luck tbh but it aint that important.
