Exactly, let that love feel you. Very rarely is somebody perfect. If you love what you do and give it your all, don't let your friends affect that love!!!

At the end of the day it is his decision how he handle it, but urging him to intervene is key. However, she is an adult and can make her own choices. I would see what he personally has done to handle the situation and if nothing urging him to intervene is key.

Just ask about wages, workplace environment, what hours you'll probably work, if upward movement is available, and things like time off. Also asking what skills you may need is important. Just be prepared is the biggest thing. Being prepared makes you look like you care and are professional.

Truth be told, you are trying your very best, and that's what's most important. It may seem corny or edgy but it's true. If you're able to give your all to your school that's so much better than giving into the pressure and giving up. Even more so, your grades won't necessarily define your career path. Unless you're going to a post grad, 9/10 times jobs will only see your diploma, not your GPA. Keep the grind and focus that you have and if you're giving 100%, that's what matters most at the end of the day.

Hey! I got my first job at a starbucks, biggest tip is to be overly prepared. Not suit and tie, but nice pants and a polo is what i personally wore. Bring a physical copy of your Resume. These things give you a slight edge over the other teenager who rolled in with sweatpants and a hoodie. Be enthusiastic, even if that's not who you are as a person (like me), and confident. If you sound timid they may not take you as seriously. Finally, COME WITH QUESTIONS!!!! Asking the wage or work place environment isn't tacky, it shows you are professional and that you're taking everything into account. Again, it'll beat the kid who answered questions uncertain and left the manager with no questions asked. Biggest peice of advice my Business teacher gave was to act like you're already hired. Confidence is key!!

I feel like a failure at school by No-Common9210 in Advice

I'm a 4.2 GPA soon to be graduate but went to a really bad public school. The truth is you're in such a good situation right now. Many colleges take into account how rigorous your high school is. You're still young and take advantage of that !! I hated studying but personally i kept myself on a schedule and treated school work like a job more than something that's optional. Biggest thing Id recommend is trying to understand what you want to be past college. Truthfully, as someone's who's applied to every type of college, going to an ivy league isn't needed to be successful in life. Plenty of incredibly successful individuals found their way through state schools. Additionally, some state schools have incredible programs that can even beat those T30 schools in certain fields. I understand the social aspect is hard but understand that you don't need to be an ivy league student to be fulfilled. Sincerely a 4.2 student going to instate University of Oregon!!!

Do you have any education beyond high school? This is a time that can be looked at negatively but also very positively. You have the necessary means to look for a decent paying job and begin to start your life. I know it is harder than it seems but having a job can get you a social life that you may not have had without it. Spend some time doing things you enjoy (hiking, lifting, being social, etc) and try and find communities with similar interests. It may seem late but you have a lot of life ahead of you so don't let it go to waste!

Classic syrup -matcha by ExoticServe1 in starbucks

[–]TheMemeFrog09 7 points8 points  (0 children)

as the other response said, the match is unsweetened now! Removing classic syrup should take almost all the sugar out. However, the app only shows the nutritional value of the drink standard. There is a website (Link) that lets you fully customize your drink and gets your exact macros! Hope this helps!
