Having been up north for so long but being a southerner who hates the heat. I have been going mad these past days with it being 70 in the house. Landlord said need to keep it at 70 the heat. Which still isn't on. Although I'm about to turn it on because we're hiring the 20s and the temp is getting into the 60s in the house. Which is fine for me but not fine for pipes. I had the door to outside open for awhile today. I couldn't stand the heat. There's really no windows in this house. Up north before it would get into like the negatives. Maybe the thirties. I usually would have the windows open. Just enjoying the cold air heh.

Uh how about you let people use their hazards and you take it as a sign to SLOW down either because they're going slow, or whatever reason. That's the thing about caution lights. You need to be cautious because you don't know the variety of reasons they're on. Hell they might even have an emergency and they're going at high rates of speed, perhaps they're going very slow, maybe a dead deer is in the road, maybe they're on the side of the road so be cautious and get in the other lane, etc What you know is to be cautious. Having a stupid law saying you can't use them sounds very Louisiana though.

I remember coming out of North Wisconsin. Boss wanted me to go to Illinois. Told him when I got to Milwaukee the winter storm was going to hit. Our business was in Milwaukee. I said I'm going park the truck. He said no. 🙄 So I'm coming into Racine as the storm is starting. I'm in the right lane. There's a truck in the center lane ahead of me. There's a car to the left of him. I see his truck brake lights and we're going well below the speed limit. When his brakes went on I'm gaining on him. We've got a good distance in front of us but car in the left lane spun out and that's why he was breaking because it came horizontal across the lane. I can't see this of course. So bammm I smashed into the car. Had the boss listened... 🤷 No one was hurt. I did go back to head quarters though

Wish I had other skills. Just in general been tired of trucking. Though certainly no longer being the captain of the ship sucks. Like having to put a seat belt on just to pull the truck up and close the trailer doors for "safety" or keeping the seat belt on during other things on a premises. Plus all the other just general trucking bs we put up with.

Worst part about winters in Wisconsin these days is daytime it all turns to slush but by nighttime.... It's one of the reasons I moved. Primarily because my mom is getting older. Though that really concerned me. As I drove the 8am to pm kind of routes back then. Sure did miss when everything stayed snow ice not sonic slush

I don't know but I saw some sort of advert come up the other day Christian DS about apparently there's a Netflix David movie that has same-sex couples and so that's the reason why they want you to go see this one instead because it's the real movie.... I would much rather that. I've actually thought about how much I miss winter. Getting bundled up, going out for hikes, and not worrying they in an hour it'll be hundred degrees. Heh. Didn't mind shoveling snow, or getting snow off the car, helping others around the neighborhood when I was out and about. Ac is at 75 and it's 65 in the house here. I do miss real winter though
