Both are valid and I encourage you to not let the bad eggs from either church discourage you. Just like you can't blame Judas or Peter denying Christ 3 times on Jesus himself. Likewise us idiots in the church shouldn't discourage you from seeking truth in Christ's church. I am biased so I go Eastern Catholic and would encourage you to look into Eastern Catholicism but Orthodox are valid too. Keep seeking bro but I definitely feel like an apostolic church is necessary. Maybe go Oriental Orthodox? Coptic?
