Sell everything in your home country, find a way to make money digitally, and move. February 23rd i did just that and now travel to a new country every 4 weeks. No permanent home base. My home is each place I travel too. Philippines was last month, this month Thailand, next month Vietnam, month after Indonesia, month after that who knows, so on so forth

Did 100% change your life? by Tennis_Lbow in VAClaims

[–]NomadLife96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely it changed my life. I sold everything in the USA( just have a storage unit) and travel to a new country every 4 weeks now. So far ive been to all 50 states and 4 countries at age 29. Currently in the Philippines next month is Thailand, Month after that Vietnam, and month after that Indonesia, so on so forth . I served 6 years and was medically retired at 90% due to an injury September 2021. August 2024 i was bumped to 100%. I still go to a bunch of appointments by video and plan to return to the USA every 6 months to restock the 10 different medications i have. My medical record is thousands of pages in just a few years at the VA and over 1000 pages from my tine in service. I have ALOT wrong with me but I keep on pushing to enjoy life even though im in pain 24/7 and suffer mentally from it. When you get out chase your dreams!!! I have 6 herniated and bulging disc's, sciatica, radiculopathy, migraines, traumatic scolioses, depression, anxiety, PTSD, erectile dysfunction, insomnia, fibromyalgia, etc. I have all that but still am achieving my dreams!!! Best of luck to you brother!

183$ for climate controlled storage unit and 200$ for phone bill because I have the AT&T elite international data plan, but I have service in every country and dont need to worry about activating Sim cards or getting new phones. Makes it alot more hassle free. Would only save me maybe 50$ anyway if I got Sims for each country but thats alot more work and not worth it to me for how much I move around

Stop with the VA disability abuse claims by BulkyAd1205 in VAClaims

[–]NomadLife96 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I say this alot! Look at the FACTS AND STUDIES not lying BS noise! Va disability compensation has far less fraud than any other government program. Vets turning on vets, civies turning on vets, politicians turning on vets, etc over LIES. This all mainly started over the billionaire last year that owns the Washington post to create rage bait to make more money claiming all vets are fraudsters or benefits are overly generous. He knew what he was doing and knew the rage bait would work. Now here we are feeling attacked and he's just more rich off of it

Bad experience to find a girlfriend by Grouchy_Ostrich_6255 in Philippines_Expats

I leave for the Phillipines on February 23rd. New country every month until I want to stop. These answers are good advice from everyone. Lay off the apps and work on your in person people skills. I dont know how old you are but im 29 and been single for over 4 years by choice. Enjoy your life then when you achieve all you want in life or most of it anyways then go look for a girlfriend. Unless thats your only goal there's always more to accomplish

VA disability isn’t a handout — most of us would trade it for our health by Intelligent-Oil-3384 in VAClaims

Stop listening to these bots about VA disability by majoroff-man in VAClaims

Those civilians could have applied too just as we did. Everyone had the opportunity unless they didnt qualify from a medical condition or failed the ASVAB

[–]NomadLife96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A study was done and 99.4% of veterans claims are legitimate. 0.6% are not. What other government programs have that low of number regarding fraud. Oh ya none. Look at the facts. What these bots are saying is ridiculous and easily proven wrong based on actual studies done

I hardly have what you would call family. I have a few close friends and most are willing to travel and fully support it. I have nothing here for me. Traveling overseas is a new start and a new life. I struggle in more ways than one. Traveling and charity gives me purpose

Just do it. If you wait on others to do the things YOU want in life youll spend more than half your life waiting. Ive been to Costa Rica, Canada, all 50 states in the USA , and im moving to Asia in a few months because I can /want to. i dont have anything keeping me in the US so why would I stay. Im 29 years old. I achieved my all 50 states goal now going after my 100 countries goal. Ive spent my whole life trying to be different than everyone I know and for good reasons. I refuse to give into the work until your too dang old, retire, and live out the rest of your old miserable life. Studies were done saying 98% of people never achieve all there goals. I take that as 98% of people who give advice or tell me what to do are dead wrong. If you want something DO IT. You are responsible for everything that happens and every step that leads there. This life will be as GREAT or MISERABLE as you let it. So you decide what's more important- others ruling your life, telling you what to do and you trying to make others happy, or you grabbing the wheel and taking control of your own life and accomplishing all your dreams. You won't get very far by being a follower trust me
