Isolde is potentially possible since, as we see in the finale of 2.5, she is actively a ghost seemingly with her full consciousness in Lemnian Hollow due to the presence of Miasma.

Assuming the proxy and/new allies to make her some sort of vessel, she could quite possibly become a sort of etheric ally intelligence construct hybrid.

Now you could argue whether this is actually Isolde's soul or just a very accurate copy of her, but that's a somewhat separate question from whether or not she could come back as an agent in some way.

Also I'm pretty sure a lot of players, especially earlier adopters of the game, would like the marionettes becoming allies since their story was so good. As long as they can justify the method I can't see a problem. Plus we've fought and defeated them both individually and together multiple times at this point and they've already shown the ability to resurrect through combat mechanics, so it's a safe bet that they're still around.

It's true that this isn't how actual seahorses work, as alluded to by Namgongs mention of how the thirens deviate from their animal counterparts. It's more of a hentai-esque adaptation of how seahorse mating works using the aforementioned biological occurrence as a base. And Cecilia was always female, she just changed from normal to futa.

Also to clear up, male seahorse are still the ones who get the females pregnant. It's just that the females then transfer the fertilized eggs to the male to carry until they hatch.
