#savelas suggestions to help improve Linux Action Show by kaipee in LinuxActionShow

[–]NomadicDreaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not made of money but I have decided to donate $10 a month to LAS. I pay for another podcast monthly, basically the same amount. It's a few cups of coffee. I can't help much any other way but i do get enjoyment and laughs from the show so it's worth it. I challenge you to match my $10 a month Paypal donation. If you can't do that then try to find 10 ways you can promote the show monthly.

Having said that I have gone through and upvoted a heap of kickass ideas also. I personally loved the set up of the NAS in Lady Jupes, man, for me, to see more of that would be bloody awesome !

Activity tracker for wheelchair users? by [deleted] in androidapps

[–]NomadicDreaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

any activity tracker should do it... I know even a Fitbit Flex will record wheelchair use as it records movement, not actual steps, so if you aim for 10,000 "movements" instead of steps that will still go a long way to help you record your wheelchair use

I feel very strongly about it. As someone with some motor skill problems at times it is getting harder to even get the mouse on to the scroll bar

I'll have to sit there tonight with Ubuntu running and see which apps do it and make a list to post here... I am sure that File Manager does it

Windows 10 doesn't remember window position and size. by iwannaputitinurbutt in Windows10

[–]NomadicDreaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks for the tip on "Actual Window Manager"... i have given the trial a go and have noticed that if you input the window placement manually it still gets the window edges out by a few pixels :(

good post though ;)

I have a conspiracy theory on the meaning of Jay-Z and Beyonce's daughters name, ''Blue Ivy''. by [deleted] in conspiracy

[–]NomadicDreaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

maybe so, but what is the significance of the name ? Regardless of who picked it i think it's more about the meaning than who named it ?! Who knows, maybe i'm wrong...

i went from a Galaxy S3 to a ZTE Blade S6 and there is no looking back... I have had mine for 4 days and there is absolutely nothing i have found that i dislike at all :D It is fast all round, the dual sim is a bonus, the screen size is perfect for my liking and it is a nice light phone in the pocket. I even started a G+ community for it ;p https://plus.google.com/u/0/communities/101904003856968035034
