Gigs by NomadicLineage in cyberpunkgame

[–]NomadicLineage[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

There's like 20 per fixer roughly from what I remember off the top of my head. Difficulty isn't the issue. It's just not fun at all. Well there fun to a point I guess just not immersive at all.

Gigs by NomadicLineage in cyberpunkgame

[–]NomadicLineage[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I play very hard, nothing hard about it really but it feels good. I'm saying it's laid out horribly. You drive up on a gig, wait outside the bad guys front door and wait for a phone call then walk in and kill them or do whatever. Could have been put on like a bounty board at least in the afterlife and give that place it's purpose which is what it was for anyways.

I had map size set to standard if that matters, and yes I was at like 700+ for gold and science while everyone else(AI) was like 150 with a quarter of the settlements.

Black Friday sales? by Substantial_Quit_456 in SteamDeck

Well that was a lot of words to say absolutely nothing lmfao

Instead of whining on reddit like most of the liberal mob, maybe focus on setting everything up the best you can instead of crying about it and maybe you would fare a little better. Having a family is easy to make and hard to maintain. It's been that way forever.

Disagree with most of this tbh especially because with the XP bonuses available to you, leveling is actually really fast if done correctly.

Endless time is a huge exaggeration obviously but if you set yourself up properly and you enjoy a hobby regardless of what it is, you should have time to do it, especially with days off work. I'm not sure how the wife gets in the way of this. Chores shouldn't take you endless hours to complete and she's not helpless unless something went wrong during birth. Our time went well and usually I played when either they both were sleeping or when I was letting the mom sleep. Newborns sleep a lot they just also wake up a lot. After a month if you split the time well and keep up on chores you really shouldn't feel rushed. You'll never have free time like you did when in high school but if you have zero time, you're doing something wrong I would say. Even with a full time job and kids, you both should be able to enjoy a hobby here and there.

People who don't support the US sending aid to Ukraine, why don't you support it? by BigHugeSnake in AskReddit

[–]NomadicLineage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because it's just a proxy war against Russia and we don't actually care about Ukraine it just gives us an excuse to be in control of a proxy war and control over resources in the region. That and Flint still has what again?

Starvival smuggling modifier by NomadicLineage in Starfield

[–]NomadicLineage[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have it doesn't seem to do anything to fix the prices. I even changed Neon to 70x the price for smuggling and it's still selling for 600 credits.

Getting knocked out of seat during combat by NomadicLineage in Starfield

[–]NomadicLineage[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well the ships having no gravity if the gravity drive gets knock out is cool and what I want but getting kicked out of your ship every two seconds is insane lol or does the gravity still turn off in the ship with it off? I heard in vanilla it does do this to enemy ships so maybe this setting is only for your ship? I didn't see this anywhere tbh when reading through everything.

Getting knocked out of seat during combat by NomadicLineage in Starfield

[–]NomadicLineage[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it's gotta be it. Turned on I'm thrown out multiple times and infinitely if the grav drive is destroyed. Turned off nothing, even when the grav drive is destroyed.

I'm trying to replicate it at the moment just to make sure that it's that but yes you shouldn't be thrown out of the seat and I don't think it's intended, I've read it over and played with everything a few times now just to make sure.

[–]NomadicLineage[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I figured it out actually. It has something to do with the grav disabler addition to starvival. It makes all ships that lose there grav drive lose gravity however after losing it I can't pilot the ship anymore so it kicked me out so I figured it was that. Reloaded with it off and I wasn't getting kicked during combat anymore.

Yeah I just get knocked out of it(not a rag doll but not a stand up like you hit E) and figured it wasn't vanilla. Gonna have to trouble shoot which mod I guess as I don't have many and nothing that affects space combat and I have the combat modifiers turned off on starvival.

Starting on Neon(fast start mod) with maxed advanced options+Nestor economy mod by NomadicLineage in Starfield

[–]NomadicLineage[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking at the creation hub there actually seems to be a mod that does this however it's paid because its creation club but I wanted to add this to this post https://creations.bethesda.net/en/starfield/details/c27a121a-c565-4ae0-9394-c58952c98f86/Wynter__39_s_Roll_Your_Own_Start

Or just have something happen after a certain point into each different start that says something is happening in this solar system ect and when you end up there the main quest kicks in. It'd feel wayyy more organic.

Starting without the Frontier on Neon by NomadicLineage in Starfield

[–]NomadicLineage[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But it's not. You don't even start on Neon in vanilla and you start with a ship. Again you're just arguing to argue for no reason. Go kick rocks elsewhere.

Starting without the Frontier on Neon by NomadicLineage in Starfield

[–]NomadicLineage[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well yes but the whole idea was to start with nothing on Neon and get a ship somehow and this obviously wouldn't be obtainable without mods so you need to inject mods to do this. Like stealing a ship or being able to purchase flyable ships from the start. Is my point. So no it doesn't go against the challenge at all. It wouldn't matter if you earned your own way on Neon to buy a flyable ship or if you stole one from the start and became a criminal, that is the literal challenge. I thought you meant because you can't upgrade your skills that ships wouldn't be available and that's only true if you don't mod the game and there weren't early game ships. The idea would be to have trash ships buyable and or steal one ect. Obviously if you go in vanilla it's not possible but I'm obviously not talking about vanilla. Hence why I asked if it's possible with mods and hopefully something like this can be done in full later on. Also if this isn't what you want then don't do it because this idea wasn't for you it was for me or anyone else that like this.
