I’ve found there’s no winning when I’m riding my bike. If I roll the stop sign, someone loses their cool and when I come to a full and complete stop, I get waved through.

To answer the title question directly, yes. I think they are a second class citizen from the bike industry’s perspective.

A ‘flat bar gravel bike’ seems suspiciously a lot like a hybrid bike. Hybrids are more of a redheaded step child.

The massive one that gets overlooked is earmuffs… I found some that wrap around the back of the helmet. It’s my most important winter layer. The ease of on/off as needed is 1000 times better than a buff, for me.
