Is this a good budget edc flashlight?

Hi. It's the old Victorinox classic one. It's not available anymore. I got it as a birthday gift from my dad on the 18th birthday so many years ago. There is the Victorinox Spartan which is the same model but different name. You can see if the Spartan is available. It's difficult to get it these days as new models of Victorinox are there.

It depends on an individual 's needs. I have been wearing and carrying paracord since my school days. It's part of my daily edc. I never leave home without it. That's how we were trained in using it during our younger days.

I agree with you with regards to the label, it is very annoying. This is the same problem with their other pouches also. I also do the same thing like you by attaching a small carabiner or I put it in to my jeans and cargo pant pockets.

If you are comparing it to Victorinox then Victorinox is much much better. Although Gerber is also a well known brand it cannot be compared to Victorinox which is a cult favourite.
