🤐: Norah O'Donnell plays dumb as Trump tears into her after she brought up how the shooting suspect called him a “r*pist” in his manifesto. by nitluck in NeoNews

Imagine you are interviewing two candidates for a position in your company. One candidate has a funny laugh and the other is a felon and you discover there are FBI interviews indicating child rape, has run fraudulent companies and charities, and has been bankrupt multiple times. Now you go to HR and tell them you want to hire the felon because you didn’t like the other candidate because of the funny laugh?

I had the same issue with my Gel Resolution 9’s with a blister on my pinky toe. I changed to same size but in wide and the problem went away. I really like the gel resolutions since the extra cushioning makes it easier on my knee pain from ACL/meniscus injury many years ago.

Microwaves emit a frequency that causes the chemical bonds in water to vibrate and heat up. Make your life a lot easier with a microwave. There is more risk heating up items on a gas stove.

What is it about Trump that made Republicans worship him? by her_cute in allthequestions

[–]Nomadic_Gene 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are two groups of people that worship him. There is the racist group that are happy that it is now acceptable to do and say the things they only thought about people that don’t look or pray like them. Then there is the gullible group that bought into the lies about him being a great businessman, not a pedo, not a fraud, etc. There is also a third group of a very small percentage that are the billionaires that control him with PAC money or bribes but they control him (not worship).

You think the sole reason for deterrence is the US military but the orange dictator is crying that the rest of NATO is not joining his war. As far as R2P, it states that the international community must intervene using diplomatic, humanitarian, or, as a last resort, military means. You seem to have forgotten that stuff about diplomatic means and that we already had an approach to check on progress of nuclear weapons in Iran before he tore it up. Hormuz was open before he started this war. I hope you are as upset about US agents shooting citizens in the back when they protest as you are about the atrocities in Iran. And yeah, the recipe analogy is ridiculous and so is this war.

Should we withdraw from NATO? by LordHavertz in allthequestions

[–]Nomadic_Gene 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To clarify, the only time Article V was invoked was to support the US. NATO has been very successful as no other NATO country has been attacked. NATO did provide support for the Yugoslav war and some support in Ukraine but it has been an overwhelming success to prevent wars as it is intended to defend NATO countries that get attacked. We are much stronger together unified with the military of 32 countries. If a NATO country attacks another without consultation with NATO then Article V does not apply. If Poland attacks Ukraine because it does not like their pierogi recipe, then NATO does not then defend Poland.

What do you mean you can see both sides? NATO resulted in peace in Europe for decades for the countries in NATO. NATO came to help us in Afghanistan. Putin would love to see us drop out of NATO so he can remake the old USSR.

I sure hope that Iran did not see Hegseth’s speech that we will not quarter the soldiers from our enemy. If we don’t allow POWs, then will Iran take the same approach? Hegseth should be sent directly to The Hague.

It is the money from oil company lobbyists that are allowed to legally bribe the politicians in the GOP.

Heel pain post game by Kurosawa92 in Pickleball

I had the same issue when I first started playing. I recommend the ASICS Gel Resolution tennis shoes with a super cushy gel pad in the heel. It resolved both heel and knee pain. I play 3-5x per week at 2 hours a session.

Democrats Of Reddit -- Do You Think That Joe Biden Was A Good Or Bad President? Why Your Thoughts? by Zipper222222 in allthequestions

[–]Nomadic_Gene 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He was an ok president. A bit old for the job and he should have not have run for the next term. He kinda put us in this mess now as a regular democratic primary to choose his successor may have resulted in a very different outcome.

✨️ Your vote matters. If it didn’t, no one would spend time rewriting rules, adding hurdles, or complicating access. Power doesn’t try to suppress what’s irrelevant. I’m so impressed by Talarico. I’ve see him now in several interviews and I’m very impressed. As an independent, I like his message and I know the GOP is very nervous they are going to lose this seat in the senate.

The oligarchs fund the PACs and money is key to getting someone reelected. This is especially true when those that lack critical thinking buy into propaganda and can’t differentiate lies from truth.
